Ralph Lauren showed chunky western belts and Navajo-inspired bags that made us swoon, Francisco Costa continued Calvin Klein's sleek, streamlined vibe, while Oscar de la Renta gave a bevvy of jaw-dropping gowns! Plus, Gwen Stefani closes out Fashion Week with her new L.A.M.B. collection. On Allison: Proenza Schouler from Edit New York.
We loved how this leggy New York Fashion Week attendee combined a taupe bandage miniskirt, a loose tie-dyed tee, and a wispy flyaway cardigan, her black patent oxfords and slouchy carryall providing a slick finish. Get the look now with this white Splendid wrap, Joe's Jeans tie-dyed tee, and an Arden B bandage mini, seen above.

Karoline Kurkova showed up at a number of shows this New York Fashion Week — Alexander Wang, Michael Kors, and Oscar de la Renta among them. She told Modelinia: “After having the baby I’m a new person and I feel like I’m starting again as a new person. It’s the rebirth of me and an evolution of me. It just kind of all happened at once and everybody was excited for me to do shows, so I kind of instead of doing one, I could do just one exclusive or one or two. But I decided, ‘Let me just go with it.’”
Kurkova, captured in her downtime between shows, gave her take on the color for Fall, camel, with a slouchy ribbed sweater, asymmetric skirt, and toffee-colored oxfords. Emulate her chic look by pairing this BCBG Max Azria sweater, seen above, with a draped skirt by Vivienne Westwood Anglomania. Finish off with oxfords, dark sunnies, and a black satchel.

It's so nice to go to an Oscar de la Renta show — it's as sophisticated as one would expect! He was back on Park Avenue showing off his Spring 2011 designs, and the place was chock-full of Vogue staffers, both of the main and Teen Vogue variety. Sitting right next to Anna Wintour in the front row was the always gracious Sarah Jessica Parker, who was apparently wearing one of Oscar's new designs that she pledged to return today. Not even a thunderstorm outside could disrupt the serenity of the scene. Oscar sent 60-odd looks down his raised runway, with Karlie Kloss both opening and closing the proceedings. There were amazing long gowns in head-to-toe sequins, as well as chiffon boleros and tweed separates like the one SJP modeled. Oscar's creations were essentially elegant, as always.
