Jamie-Lynn Sigler always appears so fresh-faced and pretty when she steps onto the red carpet. For her most recent foray at Fashion Week, Dior makeup artist Ricky Wilson created a lovely, polished look in soft, glowing tones. It's a palette that will work well on almost anyone, and Ricky's broken down exactly which products he used to get the finished product. Backstage at Proenza Schouler, designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough chatted with Frederic Fekkai, whose hair care line was being used on the models. Mr. Fekkai wasn't doing hair, but lead stylist Paul Hanlon led a team in creating an undone, tousled updo. "It's a twisted Hitchcock thing," Hanlon explained. "It's cool and sexy, but the designers wanted a maturity to the look." He applied Fekkai Coiff Oceanique Tousled Wave spray throughout hair before finger-combing it dry with a diffuser. After pulling hair into a French twist, he left a few pieces out for what he calls "a feeling that it's fallen." In one unusual but effective move, he wrapped hair with mesh scarves, then set the texture with Fekkai Coiff Sheer Hold hair spray before removing the scarf.
Makeup had a tomboyish quality. "They're much more ladylike than they usually are, but they still wanted a tough edge," makeup artist Diane Kendal said of the designers' vision. Flawless skin and contoured cheekbones (courtesy of MAC Iridescent Powder in Silver Dusk) provided a contrast to the strong eye. Kendal created tomboyish eyebrows by brushing on shadow a shade darker than each model's natural color. The finishing touch: a little bit of foundation dabbed on the lips.
Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. show last night was just the jolt of energy needed to end Fashion Week on a high note. She took over the theater at Lincoln Center to show off her 2011 Spring designs, which included lots of her signature prints, baggy pants, and draping. Her models walked to a soundtrack of remixed Estelle and MGMT that had the whole crowd bobbing their heads. It felt more like a party, but no matter — her bright designs looked great on the models.
The creations were clearly appreciated by Gwen's husband, Gavin, who took photos on his phone and grooved to the music with their son Kingston on his lap. Gwen's bandmates from No Doubt were also there right in the front row. When Gwen came out to walk the runway herself, Kingston hopped off Gavin and took Gwen's hand to accompany her on the rest of her stroll. It was a sweet end to the fun show — love, angel, music, and babies!

New York Fashion Week wrapped up last night, but not before a handful of stars were able to head out for a last couple of shows. Sarah Jessica Parker was decked out in Oscar de la Renta to see his new presentation, and she managed to score a seat right in between the editors of Vogue. Rachel Zoe brought along her husband, Rodger Berman — check out the stylist's latest thoughts on the shape she's loving for Fall. Gwen Stefani was the last to present at Lincoln Center, and even her guys from No Doubt came out to see her L.A.M.B. collection. Gavin Rossdale was spotted at the tents earlier in the day with their sons, Kingston and Zuma, but it was only their oldest who was right by the runway to see Gwen's bright prints.
Gavin told us over the weekend that he was excited to see Gwen's creations, and Kingston already has front-row experience after turning out for Edun on Saturday. Kingston was adorably perched right on Gavin's lap for the show, and both Rossdales went to town on some gum and bopped their heads to her upbeat soundtrack. Gwen came out to wave to fans, and Kingston even hopped off Gavin to join his mom for the photo op. Next up was the afterparty, where Kanye West offered his congratulations to Gwen. It was a whirlwind week of stylish times in the Big Apple, but now the action's moved over to London. Stay turned to PopSugar UK and FabSugar UK for updates from across the pond!
