Emmys Trendspotting: Shine On
At tonight's Emmys, more than a few celebs chose to up their star power with a shimmering red-carpet gown. It was all about gorgeous gowns that glowed from metallic sequins and beads. Think less disco ball and more delicate with metallic embroidery like Jennifer Carpenter's beautiful sparkly gown, Christina Hendricks's femme Johanna Johansson confection, or Taraji P. Henson's slinky, liquid gold and silver Blumarine gown. And we love the way they wear it — opting for minimal accoutrements that showcase the gowns and their own natural glow.
