Did you see our Emmys Best Dressed bracket, and its upstart winner? The Emmys brought a bevy of glamorous stars dressed in their red carpet best, and we've been voting for our favorites. While there were big stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Winslet in the mix, it was a young upstart who won our bracket: Nina Dobrev's showstopping red Donna Karan gown took the Best Dressed title, with Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang and Evan Rachel Wood in sparkly Elie Saab following in second and third. Once the show ends, the night is just beginning for the Emmys crowd. The star-studded crew continued on to the Governors Ball, HBO's postshow fête, and Fox's Emmys bash to toast the big winners, like Modern Family's Julie Bowen and Mad Men's star-studded cast, and celebrate late into the night. Among the glamorous guests, we spotted a glowing Christina Hendricks, the gorgeous Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rashida Jones, and Kristen Wiig catching up over cocktails. Inside, there's more in store, including the arrivals you didn't see on the show's red carpet — like Ashlee Simpson joining her leading man at HBO. Kerry Washington also took our breath away in a strapless red sequined gown by Zuhair Murad, while Claire Danes opted for a high-shimmer ensemble from Oscar de la Renta. At tonight's Emmys, more than a few celebs chose to up their star power with a shimmering red-carpet gown. It was all about gorgeous gowns that glowed from metallic sequins and beads. Think less disco ball and more delicate with metallic embroidery like Jennifer Carpenter's beautiful sparkly gown, Christina Hendricks's femme Johanna Johansson confection, or Taraji P. Henson's slinky, liquid gold and silver Blumarine gown. And we love the way they wear it — opting for minimal accoutrements that showcase the gowns and their own natural glow.
