Selena Gomez Is Fresher Than Ever in Floral 3.1 Phillip Lim

We're going to go ahead and say it: we think the floral 3.1 Phillip Lim ensemble Selena Gomez wore to Z100's Elvis Duran and the Morning Show in NYC is her coolest yet (we love seeing the sporty side of Selena!).

We're going to go ahead and say it: we think the floral 3.1 Phillip Lim ensemble Selena Gomez wore to Z100's Elvis Duran and the Morning Show in NYC is her coolest yet (we love seeing the sporty side of Selena!). The singer paired this Get It Girl tee ($150) with these relaxed botanical-print pants ($425), then added perfectly crisp Bionda Castana navy and ivory sandals ($584). Her finishing touches — a gold circle necklace and gold watch, both by House of Lavande Vintage — lent just enough shine. Score Selena's entire ensemble to wear together or mix and match the pieces with ones you already own. We love the idea of trying her sleeveless tee with boyfriend jeans and her floral trousers with a chambray or classic white button-down for another variation on Phillip Lim's very cool pieces.

White is an undeniably crisp Spring color, and when you throw white on top of white?

White is an undeniably crisp Spring color, and when you throw white on top of white? Well, it makes for a double dose of freshness. Case in point: Lily Aldridge's latest NYC ensemble, which included Equipment's silky white button-down ($208) and these 3.1 Phillip Lim draped trousers ($375). Equally impressive were the model's add-ons: these adorable Charlotte Olympia kitty cat loafers ($825), Givenchy's black Pandora bag ($2,020), and cat-eye sunglasses. Score Lily's exact pieces below — but first, a few tips on perfecting white on white for day and night. Be sure to also check out more impeccable model street style here.

  • Pick the white pieces that feel the most comfortable for you — it can be tees, tanks, jeans, skirts, shorts, etc.
  • Like Lily, add nonwhite accessories for contrast. We especially love the mix of white with animal print.
  • For an office-appropriate white-on-white look, try tucking a white silky blouse into a white pencil skirt, then finishing off with nude or black pumps.
  • To make white work for night, add sexier details like strappy sandals and shiny jewels to dress it up.

Eyeliner as Lip Color Lends an Edgy Vibe at 3.1 Phillip Lim

Done up in ruddy-hued lips and strands styled with just a touch of texture, the models at 3.1 Phillip Lim's Fall 2013 show were urban girls with a bit of an edge.

Done up in ruddy-hued lips and strands styled with just a touch of texture, the models at 3.1 Phillip Lim's Fall 2013 show were urban girls with a bit of an edge. And in order to capture that sexy, naughty, dangerous vibe, Frédéric Fekkai lead stylist Paul Hanlon ensured models' hair texture was not too precise. But it was a reddish-brown lip look, conceptualized by makeup artist Francelle Daly for Nars, which really brought this downtown girl notion to life. All that was missing? A rocker boyfriend.

3.1 Phillip Lim Fall 2013 Runway

3.1 Phillip Lim delivered to his legions of fans with his cool-girl-chic Fall 2013 collection, shown in an industrial space inside the New York City central post office.

3.1 Phillip Lim delivered to his legions of fans with his cool-girl-chic Fall 2013 collection, shown in an industrial space inside the New York City central post office. The looks were almost uniformly layered — jackets on top of coats, motorcycle vests on top of sweaters, furry coats over chiffon dresses. There was still a tiny hint of the '90s nostalgia from his Spring 2013 collection in dark plaids and slouchy pants, but it was a modern take on the pantsuit in a shimmering navy that made it clear that the designer is looking forward now.

As for his much-loved accessories, this season's crop of handbags were small, flat, and structured, slung crossbody on narrow straps. Models' ears were adorned with shoulder-length peacock feather chandelier earrings designed by Alexis Bittar. The jewelry maestro explained that he wanted to "stay away from being so architectural" and that the design of the earrings were "definitely more feminine feeling — very flowy and airy, with a '60s influence." Where footwear was concerned, Phillip Lim made a strong statement in support of over-the-knee sandal boots and square-toed mules. He showed a fresh take on eveningwear with double denim covered in sparkling badges and patches. Click through now to see the collection in full.
