No trip to LA is ever complete without a bike cruise through Venice Beach. Shopbop knows this, too. Its latest Look Book was inspired by the Shopbop fashion director's last trip — see for yourself, she blogged all about it. Where there is V Beach, there is inspiration, albeit gritty surf/skate inspiration. Righteous, bra. The Look Book is pumped full of white, black, and gray, with shots of neon orange. Distressed jeans, zippers, leather, fringe, sporty knits, and lots of attitude tell the rebellious story.
Fab Blab: Nicole Richie Chats House of Harlow With Shopbop
House of Harlow continues to be a big priority in Nicole Richie's life these days. The gorgeous mommy recently opened up to Shopbop about the line and when she knew she wanted to be a designer: "I always loved jewelry, and when I was young I made friendship bracelets for my friends. I guess you could say my designing started then." She also served as model for her Look Book.
Nicole recently told Sugar she draws inspiration from the '60s and '70s, but there is one specific person who inspired her earlier on: "When I was a little girl, my father's costume designer for his tour made me outfits that matched his. I would watch her make sketches and even went to her studio to watch her make costumes." Cute! Read the complete interview.

Online Sale Alert! Designer Discounts at Shopbop
I'll admit, I've been steering clear of Shopbop's sale section for fear of finding something I can't live without. But, anything for my Fab friends. As you can imagine, there's an array of items — 120 pages to be precise — from dresses to tops, denim to loungewear.
Cheetah print is nothing new, but what I dig about this Thayer Cheetah Print Spaghetti Strap Tank ($45, originally $149), besides the price, is the way it flares out at the bottom. It adds sweetness to an otherwise roar-worthy top. Pounce before it escapes.

The Bag to Have: Jill Stuart Keira Large Frame Clutch
When such a royal purse goes on sale, I take notice. Notice this Jill Stuart Keira Large Frame Clutch ($81, originally $268). In designer bag world, that's pretty darn cheap. In addition to the price, I love the fresh grape hue, as well as the fact that it can go from shoulder bag to clutch. It may look small, but it's actually about the size of a sheet of paper — perfect for stashing all your girlie necessities.

Celebs Pick Their Shopbop Faves
How cool is this? Shopbop has asked celeb fans of its site to pick their favorite pieces. So far, Chloë Sevigny, Anna Farris, and Sarah Michelle Gellar have all weighed in. As you can see below, Chloë is currently into cozy cardigans, ruffled mini skirts, and buckled ankle boots. If you're feeling her selections, shop them now. Of the retailer, Anna said, "Shopbop has become my favorite obsession . . . The UPS man has become my new best friend." Us too!
Shopbop Re-Fashions Your Winter Wardrobe
It's natural to grow bored of your clothes from time to time. If you're currently in that boat, let Shopbop help you re-fashion your Winter wardrobe. In its January Style File, the retailer advises rediscovering the cardigan and sometimes belting it, restyling old jeans by cuffing them, and more. Get the scoop and re-fall in love with your closet. Oh, and in case you missed it, check out Style File's December edition, too.
L.A.M.B Rouse Clutch: Love It or Hate It?
I'm going to be honest: I've never met a L.A.M.B. bag I liked. Gwen Stefani's clothing line is one of the most successful celebrity designer brands out there — I adore the clothing — but the bags not so much. They're usually too logo-heavy. But this bright little L.A.M.B Rouse Clutch ($375) is yummy. I want to eat it up. Does it feed your fashion hunger?

Style Glossary: Intarsia
Intarsia
A knitting technique used to create patterns with multiple colors. Also the retail term for sweaters with geometric designs. Fields of different colors and materials appear to be inlaid in one another, but are in fact all separate pieces that fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. Argyle socks and sweaters are normally done in Intarsia.
This Free People Snowdrift Cowl Neck Sweater ($108) is a subtle way to go Intarsia.
On Our Radar: Wish Away With Shopbop
Wish lists are genius. My family would be lost without the ones I create for them. Did you know that Shopbop has a wish list feature? As you can see below, mine is already filled with pieces by Alexander Wang, Elizabeth and James, and Bing Bang. Basically stuff I want but would rather have my family get me! Here's how to get in on the fun: sign up for a free Shopbop account and start adding your favorite items. There's a small "Add to Wish List" button on the right bottom corner of every Shopbop item. You can also search for your friend's wish list, either to know what to buy her or to get inspired by her style.
