This season his work considered the complex philosophies of Zen. Afshin wants his dresses to be appreciated simply on the merit of their beauty and I think everyone at the show did.

At the end of a long day during Fashion Week the greatest reward is attending a mellow show, away from the main stage, where you can sit back and relax.
At the end of a long day during Fashion Week the greatest reward is attending a mellow show, away from the main stage, where you can sit back and relax. After that; champagne. It was the perfect ending to our day yesterday, when Afshin Feiz, who showed at the Royal Academy Of The Arts (we liken this venue to the Altman Building in New York), revealed a pastel colored collection with flowing, intricately detailed dresses and some slouchy separates mixed in between. It was a crowd pleaser for sure, judging by the reaction to the way his garments just glided down the runway. Check out our video of the show, below.
