Anna Wintour, who may be considering retirement, hosted some of Manhattan's pretty young things at the soiree. Blake Lively and Penn Badgley traveled as a duo as usual, though they never pose together. The dress was a break from the norm for Blake who also showed off some new looks on last night's Gossip Girl Thanksgiving. Skipping TV night along with the Gossip Girl stars were Charlize Theron and Piper Perabo, who looked fantastic in the cool November night — check out love it or hate it polls on all the looks now.

Wang Wins 2008 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund

>> For its fifth anniversary, the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund went with the obvious choice, naming Alexander Wang the recipient of $200,000 plus a year of mentoring last night.  Vogue favorite Vena Cava and a less expected choice, milliner Albertus Swanepoel of Albertus Quartus, were both named runners-up and will receive $50,000 plus a business mentor.  The night's keynote speaker, John Galliano, and his date Charlize Theron were seated next to Anna Wintour and presented the top honors to a teary-eyed Alexander Wang, who said his thank yous onstage as John Galliano rubbed his arm in comfort.

Top hats seemed to be the order of the evening — Julie Gilhart and John Galliano each sported one, the latter with a daisy chain, and Agyness Deyn had on a squished version — while carrot pants and one-shouldered dresses also received numerous nods.  Plenty of models are already back in town from the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show: Anne Vyalitsyna came with Costello Tagliapietra, Maryna Linchuk with Rag & Bone, Doutzen Kroes with Irene Neuwirth, and Arlenis Sosa Pena with Rogan.

Agyness Deyn Goes Anti-Fur, Temporarily

>> It seems like Agyness Deyn hasn't been as ubiquitous lately, but she did show up with fiance Albert Hammond, Jr. to DJ The Humane Society's Cool vs. Cruel ceremony, honoring those committed to fur-free fashion.  Aggy's never been outspoken about her furry feelings, but last night, they were made pretty clear by the anti-fur heart sticker on her top.

She must have had a quick change of heart — she's worn plenty of fur on the runways, and just two days before the event, she wore what appears to be a fur jacket to another event.  And she's donned fur of her own volition before, sporting it to the Purple Magazine Party in Feb. 2007.

Baz Luhrmann Gets Some Love From His Stars and Friends

While one star of Australia was elsewhere in town at the women of the year awards, Hugh Jackman got dressed up to honor director Baz Luhrmann at the MoMA.

While one star of Australia was elsewhere in town at the women of the year awards, Hugh Jackman got dressed up to honor director Baz Luhrmann at the MoMA. The handsome actor was just one of the stars out looking fabulous alongside Jessica Biel in a simple LBD and Rachel Weisz in one with flattering pink accents. Maggie Gyllenhaal draped herself in fur — can you tell if it's faux or not? — while Peter kept the fuzziness on his face. Nicole Kidman was expected to stop by after her Glamour event to help get everyone excited for their big release just a few weeks away as well as raise money and awareness for the museum's growing film collection.

Agyness Deyn

>> THE MODELIZER —These days, Agyness Deyn may just be tooling around New York with Henry Holland and sharing her favorites — including fiance Albert Hammond Jr.'s solo album — but I wonder if she knew a Gossip Girl character was going to be loosely modelled after her?  In last night's episode, Willa Holland showed up to play "Agnes," a model.  She may not look as much like Agyness as Agyness's own assistant, but the reference was clearly there; I wonder why they didn't just ask Agyness herself to guest star?

Chanel Mobile Art Opening Misses Anna Wintour, Brings Back McBeha

>> Despite a scathing review in The New York Times yesterday, the" black hole of bad art and superficial temptations," otherwise known as the Chanel Mobile Art exhibition, brought out the well-heeled last night.  Editors were in full force — Carine Roitfeld and Franca Sozzani swarmed Karl Lagerfeld upon his arrival, Glenda Bailey and Amy Astley made early cameos — but there was no Anna Wintour in sight .

Battle of the Chanel: Deyn vs. Guinness

You know how I always talk about Chanel's ability to span all personal styles?

You know how I always talk about Chanel's ability to span all personal styles? Case in point: The playful Agyness Deyn and the piercing Daphne Guinness. Both of these eccentric blondes have signature styles, and they both showed them off, with the help of Chanel, at last night's Chanel Mobile Art Pavilion party. Agyness is boyish and played around with tailoring, while Daphne looks like a superhero in Chanel couture. Who is your funky favorite?

Love It or Hate It? Agyness Deyn's Tousled Hair

Pulling off platinum blonde hair is tricky enough, but wearing it in an I-just-got-caught-in-the-wind style takes extra pizzazz.

Pulling off platinum blonde hair is tricky enough, but wearing it in an I-just-got-caught-in-the-wind style takes extra pizzazz. Of course, model Agyness Deyn has an abundance of confidence, and she's never one to settle for a ho-hum hairstyle. Last night's look at a Chanel party was no exception.

When she snipped her hair earlier this year, few of you were fans, but as this cut grows out, it's showing versatility. I think Agyness pulls it off with her rocker-girl attitude (and Stroke on her arm), but not everyone could. Whatcha think?

Celebrity Pets

Do Agyness Deyn's Doggies Have LV Knockoffs or Not?

I love finding celebrity pets' goodies, and it's rare when I'm not 100 percent sure if I've IDed it.

I love finding celebrity pets' goodies, and it's rare when I'm not 100 percent sure if I've IDed it. So I'm letting you make the call – this Louis Vuitton Monogram Baxter Dog Leash ($330) is currently sold out online but from the product picture and my zoomed-in one of her mini Doxie, the pattern's outline appears slightly off, no?Both pups have matchy matchy collar and leashes – that would total $1,290 if the real thing – in addition to ones that match each other, making this quite the upgrade from the Puppia/bandana combo we've spotted in the past.

Either way, I love seeing her and boyfriend, Albert Hammond Jr., snuggle and kiss (!) the dogs in a cute gallery I've shared when you read more
