Bridesmaids cutie Ellie Kemper hit the Critics' Choice Awards carpet in a sultry Alberta Ferretti look. A curve-hugging fit and ruffled hem upped the flirt factor — as did a strappy, open back. Meanwhile, allover stitching added textural intrigue, while a gold-adorned clutch furthered the glamour. To finish, she opted for soft, femme curls, a smoky eye, and a glossy pink pout. What do you think of Ellie's awards-show arrival?

Amanda Seyfried Loves Her Red Leather Pants!
Amanda Seyfried wore a gorgeous, sheer embellished Alberta Ferretti gown for the Spring 2012 Cle de Peau launch event in NYC last evening. We caught up with the always-stylish actress and found out her favorite item in her closet, the piece she always wears when traveling, and the newest addition to her wardrobe (red leather pants!) — it's all in today's FabFlash. On Allison: Comptoir des Cotonniers.
The New Beachy Waves

We're excited to present this story from our friends at Allure:
The tousled, sexy waves are always a favorite, and it's exciting to see the look revamped on the Spring runways. The new, relaxed version is a piece-y, beachy version that's completely Fall appropriate.
The trick is to make sure your waves are just rough enough to look cool (like the styles at Alberta Ferretti, above, and Burberry) and still sweater-appropriate—not too perfect or so extreme that they look like you might actually have come off a beach. "It's got a hippie vibe," said hairstylist Guido of the look backstage at Alberta Ferretti. "It's young and innocent." To create the effect, Guido avoided curling the entire head of hair. Instead, he wrapped random pieces around a 1.5-inch curling iron, working from about ear level down and holding the iron horizontally. Then, he doused the ends in Redken Shine Flash 02 Glistening Mist for "an oily, wet effect." But you can use a lighter hand to add just a touch of shine—without going full hippie.

Alberta Ferretti Spring 2012
For Spring '12, Alberta Ferretti delivered her signature ultra-feminine aesthetic with a modern twist as models strutted down the runway in sheer cutouts, African-inspired prints, crochet, and beading cut into slinky slip dresses and skirts. "To me, a simple shape and easy way is feminine and modern," said Ferretti. For daywear, the designer offered up a bevy of geometric cutout dresses — made to replicate Zulu markings — effortless knee-length skirts, and vibrant patterned dresses. However, it was evening offerings that took our breath away. Alberta's sheer black gowns were exquisitely embroidered with intricate beading and crochet details lending the perfect bohemian luxe vibe. Read below for more details from the collection.
- Trends: Sheer slip dresses, crochet and beading details, tribal prints.
- Colors: Black, white, green, fuchsia, red, citron.
- Key Look: The sheer black beaded gowns looked amazing.
- Accessories: Beaded bags, strappy and ankle-wrap stilettos in black, white, and orange.
- Who Would Wear It: The tribal looks will cater to the downtown crowd and the gowns are perfect for red-carpet ladies like Emma Watson and Kate Bosworth.
Emmys: Rashida Jones
If there was ever a time to bust out a ruby-red lipstick, it's at the Emmys. And here we have Rashida Jones pairing her jewel-toned version with a pretty, pink Alberta Ferretti design. To complement the twisted bandeau neckline, Rashida adds elegance with a low-slung, side chignon. Green-accented jewelry gives an extra pop of color to the feminine palette. Together it makes for an old-Hollywood-meets-new-Hollywood feel. Do you love it?

Karolina Kurkova, Diane Kruger, Alexa Chung and More Hit the 2011 Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet
>> Curious to see what the House of Dior puts out without a creative director at its head? The Fall 2011 Dior couture collection, which debuts in July, is being produced just that way — by the design studio alone — but a peek at what they're capable of came last night. Melanie Laurent debuted the Dior studio's first foray without a head designer — a couture gown inspired by an archival piece — for the Cannes Film Festival opening festivities. See that dress, plus Diane Kruger's slinky Calvin Klein Collection number, Rachel McAdams's peekaboo sheer Marchesa gown, and more from the first two days of Cannes in the slideshow.
The Royal Wedding Arrivals Have Started!
>> A little over an hour and we might get a first glimpse at Kate Middleton's wedding gown, but in the meantime, the guest arrivals have started. Among them so far: David Beckham in Ralph Lauren Purple Label (and top hat!) and a pregnant Victoria Beckham in a midnight blue dress of her own design with a Philip Treacy hat — speaking of, Treacy is outfitting 36 guests in total; official engagement portrait photographer Mario Testino — who reportedly had his camera confiscated; and Prince Harry's on/off girlfriend Chelsy Davy in a boatnecked emerald Alberta Ferretti dress. Expect to see lots of hats, fascinators and dresses with sleeves — exposing shoulders and heads in a sacred house of worship like Westminster Abbey, where the wedding ceremony is taking place, is considered improper.
The gallery will be updated as photos come in.
What Victoria Beckham and Other Fashion Industry Guests (Plus Chelsy Davy) Are Wearing to the Royal Wedding
>> Plenty of talk has been made of Kate Middleton's wedding dress, but what about her wedding guests? Victoria Beckham is said to be wearing one of her own designs — from the Fall 2011 Victoria Beckham collection — paired with custom Christian Louboutin shoes and a Philip Treacy hat.
Alexandra Shulman has gone with Christopher Kane for the big day (who Samantha Cameron is also rumored to have chosen), while Anya Hindmarch picked a "classic and chic" Emilia Wickstead look. Harper's Bazaar's Sara Parker Bowles will wear Osman, while her mother-in-law Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, will be dressed by Anna Valentine, the designer who created her wedding dress when she married Prince Charles in 2005. And former Armani muse Lady Helen Taylor is wearing Erdem.
