The ladies of the red carpet glimmered in gorgeous jewel tones at this year's SAG awards. Diane Kruger dazzled in her one shoulder, citrine Jason Wu gown. Drew Barrymore took her glamorous style to another level in her sapphire gown by Monique Lhuillier. Anna Kendrick looked radiant in a purple silk chiffon Alberta Ferretti gown. Newcomer Lea Michele flaunts a head-turning emerald green stunner by Catherine Malandrino.
Anna Kendrick is relatively new to the red carpet, but she's tackling it like a pro. Check her out in this bold purple silk chiffon bustier Alberta Ferretti gown. Besides the vivacious color, the texture is neat, too. Diamond cluster earrings and a bracelet are all the bling she needs. Do you love it or hate it?

Alberta Ferretti's latest ad campaign takes me back to my childhood, when I would frolic in my fairy outfit and colorful braided headband. Only now it's Hanne Gaby Odiele, Kasia Struss, Constance Jablonski, and Dorothea Barth Jörgensen having the fun, and the clothes are way chicer. I love everything about these Steven Meisel shots — the fluid movements, the romantically beautiful dresses, the serene colors. If only I could transport myself to Alberta's fairyland! What do you think?
The latest Pre-Fall '10 collections have been released, and the forecast calls for neon, velvet, fur, draping, and structure. While most designers went down the posh path, Nicolas Ghesquière took Balenciaga back to the sporty trail. In contrast, Phoebe Philo's Celine (left) is more luxurious via feathers, sheepskin, and sharp outerwear. Proceed to see which direction Lanvin, Proenza Schouler, Alberta Ferretti, and Nina Ricci have taken for Pre-Fall.
Are you ready for some Pre-Fall action? The first batch of Pre-Fall '10 is in and it's all courtesy of those talented Italians. Versace, Missoni, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, and Roberto Cavalli's main and Just Cavalli collections are all represented. You'll find lots of knits, furs, feathers, and dark hues but also a few flavorful maxis and minis. My favorite Pre-Fall line so far is Moschino Cheap & Chic (left) — a bit raw, a bit lady, all impeccably styled.
Black and yellow are normally associated with bees, but not in this case. Miss Bea Heyvin's fantastically bumble beautiful look, instead, screams confidence. So cool how she used the illustration as inspiration to construct a similarly sassy ensemble. I love the fluidity of the polka-dot frock and the rigidity of the coat. The accessories help take the look to even funkier territory. Buzzzzz!
Even under a scrunched time line, Milan Fashion Week stunned with numerous beautiful collections. In this roundup, I highlight some of my favorite designers, including Versace, Ferragamo, Fendi, and Armani, to name a few. I admit, Dolce & Gabbana's collection was my favorite, but that's not stopping me from showing you Bottega's soft and swirly frock, Gucci's cut-out wonder, and Emilio Pucci's magical prints. I can't seem to resist this tropical bohemian masterpiece from Etro. Simply a-mazing.
