Jamie Hince gave a look of love in his wife Kate Moss's direction last night while they were out in London. Along with Alexa Chung, Rosamund Pike, and Noomi Rapace, Kate and Jamie hung out at Café Royal, which was host to a temporary club called the-miumiu-london. Kate and the guests were treated to a meal from chef April Bloomfield, who's known for her work at NYC's The Spotted Pig and Breslin. The club, open for three days, is sponsored by Prada, and Kate evidently had a good time yesterday — she was back again today hanging out with friends like Georgia Jagger.

Miuccia Prada herself granted access to the-miumiu-london to a select group of women from the fashion, art, and cultural worlds. Kate and other women who made the cut have access to a bar, shop, and lounge, as well as a series of discussions and screenings.

The only fitting way to celebrate Valentino's new London exhibition would be with a celebrity-studded fete — where, of course, everyone is wearing Valentino's gorgeous confections. That was at least true for the always-stylish Alexa Chung and Olivia Palermo, both of whom joined Valentino at the opening of Valentino: Master of Couture. Both looks were a testament to the range of Valentino's beautifully feminine collections. While Alexa's look was a playful riff on cocktail couture, balancing a delicate lacy bodice with a bright neoprene skirt and a demure bow-trimmed waist, Olivia's catered to a sexier side. With a semisheer lace skirt and halter neckline, Olivia's dress was equal parts elegant, ladylike, and just a little more sultry than Alexa's sweet confection. Of course, a big part of the results were the finishing touches employed by both style setters. Alexa stuck to her charming aesthetic, adding in a top-handle handbag and a pair of ankle-strap Valentino pumps. Olivia gave her gown eclectic edge with a statement necklace, cropped jacket, and high-wattage heels. Now it's time to weigh in — whose Valentino do you prefer?

The 2012 British Fashion Awards took place at the Savoy Theater in London last night. The event was hosted by actress Gemma Arterton and British radio presenter Nick Grimshaw, bringing out a group of stylish stars. Designer Stella McCartney was honored with two titles including designer of the year and best designer brand, while Alexa Chung took home British style icon for the third time. Model Amber Valletta chose a dramatic red gown for the occasion, and singer Rita Ora went strapless in Vivienne Westwood. Rita made the rounds and said hello to pals like the designer Valentino. Salma Hayek was on hand to celebrate and mingled with Princess Beatrice, while Lily Collins arrived with boyfriend Jamie Campbell Bower. It was the couple's first official appearance after they were linked over the Summer while filming The Mortal Instruments.
