Jessica Alba showed off her slick street style in NYC wearing a modest-length chambray skirt and gray tank. Simple on their own, but Alba turned the fashion factor way up with hardcore accessories. Spiked stacked bracelets, a vintage necklace, cage wedges, a black oversized suede hobo, and sunnies add a majorly fresh touch to her casual cool look.

Alexander Wang Launches Video Campaign With Abbey, Nabs Zoe For T Fall Ad

We don't need to see a ton of ads to fall in love with Alexander Wang's designs, but that won't stop the designer from taking it to the next level with his latest crop of innovative marketing ideas.

We don't need to see a ton of ads to fall in love with Alexander Wang's designs, but that won't stop the designer from taking it to the next level with his latest crop of innovative marketing ideas. For Fall, Wang has scooped up rocker babe Zoe Kravitz to front his T line ad, and he will also be launching his first ever video campaign for his namesake collection. The short video, made in collaboration with Craig McDean, stars Abbey Lee in a Wall Street-inspired backdrop.

"It's abstracted,” said Wang. "Abbey's not walking down Wall Street past buildings, but there's wind and newspapers flying all over the place. It's very moody and seductive — like looking at a perfume ad where you feel for the girl a lot more. Rather than saying, 'Here's the product,' this is more about expressing ourselves." That said, Wang also hinted to a possible fragrance in the future. "I'm thinking and definitely putting together ideas," said Wang. "TBC, to be confirmed." Exciting!

Alexander Wang's lower-priced basics line, Alexander Wang T, is getting beefed up for Fall. What was once a line of t-shirts and tanks is now burgeoning into a complete lifestyle brand. "T represents the fluidity and casual aspect of how t-shirts are worn, but will now transcend into different categories," Wang said. Anticipate wool blazers, skinny pants, denim jackets, hooded ponchos (left), zip dresses, beanies, and even bras, wholesaling from $38 to $107. Remember, Wang encourages shopping from bed, so score the new Fall line when it lands at AlexanderWang.com.

Sneak Peek! Alexander Wang, Spring '10

Alexander Wang's had a busy week.
Alexander Wang 2010 Spring Accessories and T Collection 2010-02-03 06:50:22

Alexander Wang's had a busy week. Straight off the heels of his newly launched NYC guerrilla marketing campaign, the boy wonder has released his Spring accessories and T collection online. For the upcoming season, Wang dreamt up modern mules and clogs covered in soft suede and leather. While black, camel, and taupe dominated, a pop of leopard print in a V-shaped pump added some visual flair. For handbags, the popular duffel tote reappeared in new tones of gray, camel, and leather denim, along with smaller, studded messenger bags. Even though the T line isn't part of his main collection, we couldn't resist throwing in some of our faves. You know you want more Wang . . .

Come Monday, Alexander Wang will plaster the streets of NYC with his first-ever ad campaign.

Come Monday, Alexander Wang will plaster the streets of NYC with his first-ever ad campaign. "The [images] were originally only supposed to be posters we were going to send to editors and stores," said Wang. "But I felt the energy was much more appropriate for something like guerrilla marketing than anything too proper or formal. Because T is really the core foundation of what Alexander Wang stands for, I thought it should be something that could be much more democratic." The monochrome ad features Hannah Holman showing off Wang's super soft tees — which will be available at Alexander.com on Monday — in cool stretch formations. It's fresh and funky, just like the boy wonder himself. Are you feeling it?
