Alexis flaunted her diamond engagement ring while she lounged in the sand in a black bikini next to a shirtless Vincent. News of the couple's engagement came out in March following the duo's first official red carpet appearance together in October last year. They got together while working on Mad Men, and though Alexis's guest-starring role didn't last, it looks like their relationship has. The hit AMC show is currently in its sixth season, and with four episodes remaining, there are a lot of questions still left to be answered. If Alexis Bledel never struck you as the murderous type, prepare to be shocked by the trailer for Violet & Daisy. The movie stars Bledel and Saoirse Ronan as young assassins who are thrown off task during a supposedly routine job. Their target? James Gandolfini. From there, the trailer takes a turn for the surreal and colorful, making me wonder exactly what kind of movie this is.
Violet & Daisy's lack of genre isn't necessarily a bad thing; in fact, this trailer is pretty refreshing. I'm curious to see how Bledel and Ronan do with such adult roles, and I'm looking forward to putting together the puzzle that is Violet & Daisy — not to mention seeing the brilliant visual aspects on the big screen. Alexis Bledel showed off her new engagement ring from her fiancé, Vincent Kartheiser, at the premiere of her new film, Remembering Sunday, in LA yesterday. The bauble features a large round-cut diamond set in a platinum band. She told reporters at the event that Vincent picked out the bling but their wedding planning will be a joint effort. Alexis said, "We're doing it together. We haven't started yet though." The couple announced their engagement back in March after dating for nearly a year. Alexis and Vincent started their romance after playing onscreen lovers on Mad Men.

Also out to see the exhibit of Annie Leibovitz photos was Stacy Keibler, whose own significant other, George Clooney, left NYC earlier in the day. Vincent opened up about dating Alexis on the red carpet, saying, "I'm a really lucky guy . . . the most important thing, for us, is to make sure that we see each other in the flesh at least once every 10 days. All the other stuff is good, like FaceTime and the texting . . . I love seeing her. You gotta make the flight!"
Alexis and Vincent have been dating for a few months, having met when she filmed a guest role on his show Mad Men's most recent season. It's been a big month for Alexis and the costars from another of her projects, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Alexis just attended Amber Tamblyn's wedding to David Cross, after the whole gang was at Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds's mid-September nuptials. The fourth from the big-screen series, America Ferrera, wed Ryan Piers Williams in June 2011.
