For Fall 2011, designer Alice Temperley turned out models in cocktail and evening frocks and suits in a chic black, white, and red palette, often finalized with swiss-dot tights and long leather evening gloves. Sheer lace detailing and Art Deco prints rendered ensembles even more swoon-worthy, while polished beauty looks provided the perfect after-hours finish. Temperley London Could Also Be a Possible Choice for Kate Middleton's Wedding Dress
>> Kate Middleton has reportedly chosen a wedding dress designer, and although London couturier Bruce Oldfield's name keeps coming up, it sounds like another British designer could be a possibility. On Friday, Middleton was spotted on a shopping trip to Bicester Village, the designer outlet center in Oxfordshire, with her mother and sister. Apparently the Middletons are regulars at the outlet, but Temperley London — whose designer Alice Temperley did Milla Jovovich's wedding dress, for example — was one of the stores they visited, and it could be the right choice if Middleton wants to be budget-conscious, which, based on her past decisions, seems to be of utmost importance to her. Fab Exclusive! Designer Alice Temperley's 5 Fall Essentials
Alice Temperley is that cool chick who looks great in whatever she throws together, speaks with a simultaneous air of humility and street-smarts, and, oh yeah, designs insanely covetable clothes for fabulous girls everywhere. Yesterday, she presented both her main line, Temperley London, and her lower-priced diffusion line, Alice by Temperley, at Milk Studios NYC. Instead of the usual model suspects, however, she chose to showcase her collections with mannequins propped on shards of broken glass. We had a chance to chat with the British designer before the presentation, and she shared with us her top five Fall essentials. Hint: she's wearing a few of them in this photo, snapped at the presentation.

To celebrate the launch, Vogue.com UK is giving one reader the chance to win a wardrobe worth more than $2,000 and anyone who shops at the online store 20 percent off a single purchase with a special discount code.
