Jenny Packham is headed stateside; the British designer will show at NYFW this fall.

More changes at Vogue. After 12 years, Patrick O'Connell, Vogue's director of communications, is leaving the magazine. Fashion writer Florence Kane also reportedly resigned to become senior editor at C Magazine.

Designers like J Mendel, Oscar de la Renta, and Billy Reid are using nutria fur, which comes from the bayou water rat in Louisiana. Yves Saint Laruent used the skin for fur hats in the '60s.

The three eco-conscious beauties exercise their supermodel activism, each with a different take on an environmental theme. From pared down, to flower powered, to beauty shot, they've got my attention — but now tell me, whose cover take is most Fab?

Naomi Campbell Commemorates Alexander McQueen, Agyness Deyn Falls Twice at Fashion for Relief

>> Now we know why Naomi Campbell was spotted going into the shuttered Alexander McQueen store the same day the designer's death was announced: she was pulling together a tribute for the finale of her Fashion For Relief runway show benefiting Haiti.  A veiled Daphne Guinness in catsuit in heelless shoes came first, followed by Heidi Mount, Sasha Pivovarova, Natasha Poly, Karen Elson, Angela Lindvall, Helena Christensen, and Naomi, all in Alexander McQueen — video here.

Campbell walked backstage afterwards with tears in her eyes, holding Lindvall's hand.

On a lighter note, the season's first major model fall came at the same show, courtesy of Agyness Deyn, who toppled not once but twice in her Burberry heels.  The audience cheered her on as she curtsied each time; she then took the shoes off on her way back down the runway. Afterwards, she Tweeted: "1st show of fashion week! Took a tumble! Got up! Fell again. Should have stayed down the 1st time. Twice! WTF! Ouch my knees!"

Fab Ad: Jimmy Choo, Spring '10

Jimmy Choo's Fall ads with Angela Lindvall were damn sexy, but the ones for Spring are fulminating.

Jimmy Choo's Fall ads with Angela Lindvall were damn sexy, but the ones for Spring are fulminating. Just ask the IT guys who happened to walk by my desk as I was writing this! The eco-chic babe is first seen lying, clutch on crotch, then standing against a bulb-lined wall. In a sea of white walls, this background is totally luminescent and fresh. I feel like I'm in a photo shoot inside a tanning bed. Are you feeling these Jimmy Choo Spring '10 ads or are they too over-the-top?

Behind the Seams: Stars Rock Noir For Jimmy Choo For H&M

We have to wait until Nov.
Celebrities Party in LA For Jimmy Choo For H&M Launch

We have to wait until Nov. 14 to get our hands on the Jimmy Choo For H&M collection. But not Tamara Mellon and her friends — they partied the night away in LA wearing the coveted clothes and accessories. The Jimmy Choo founder donned one of her favorites — the one-shoulder leather dress — while actress Hayden Panettiere sported the black-sequin jacket I have my eye on. Lucky! There was a lot of noir in the house but that's expected, the line is totally rock 'n roll. When you're done here, check out this fun video of the festivities.

Jimmy Choo and H&M celebrated their collaboration last night in West Hollywood with a performance by M.I.A and model presentation of Jimmy Choo for H&M clothing and accessories. The crowd was mainly dressed in black, as attendees including Olivia Wilde, Angela Lindvall, and Hayden Panettiere sported pieces from Tamara Mellon's first ever ready to wear collection—think black sequin jackets, leather pants, and belted jumpsuits. Mellon herself modeled a one-shoulder leather mini dress which will retail for less than $250 when the collection hits H&M stores mid month.

Alexander Wang Evolves With Sportswear-Centric Spring 2010 Collection

>> Alexander Wang hinted recently that he was ready to evolve, telling W's September 2009 issue: "As soon as people get used to what you’re doing, you have to change direction."

>> Alexander Wang hinted recently that he was ready to evolve, telling W's September 2009 issue: "As soon as people get used to what you’re doing, you have to change direction."  And evolve he did for Spring 2010: the look of his last few collections, with their body-clinging shapes and primarily black palettes, was replaced by a generally looser silhouette and all shades of khaki, tan, olive, and gray.  He told WWD that Spring 2010 for him "is very much about classic American sportswear," and the idea is visible in pieces like a sweatshirt dress with football pad detailing (below) and all the shinguard-like socks cut out at the back of the calf.

But Wang didn't give up the sexy side of his label — there were plenty of bra tops, crop tops, and and lingerie-style shorts to go around.  The house was unsurprisingly packed, with Katie Grand (Wang's after-party co-host), Terry Richardson, Olivier Zahm, Diane von Furstenberg (Alex's CFDA-appointed mentor), Erin Wasson, Devon Aoki, Liya Kebede, and Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin all front row.  Frankie Rayder, Angela Lindvall, and Iselin Steiro walked, newcomer Mirte Maas opened, Karl Templer styled, and Wang's three styles of sunglasses debuted.

Fab Ad: Jimmy Choo Fall '09

While we anxiously await Jimmy Choo's H&M collab (awesome!), we can feast on the shoe empire's Fall ad campaign.

While we anxiously await Jimmy Choo's H&M collab (awesome!), we can feast on the shoe empire's Fall ad campaign. Angela Lindvall is back for another round of the good life. This time she's in a fabulous yacht cabin, dripping in Choo's sharp shoes and accessories against rich, brown hues. Her tousled shagadelic 'do adds to the sultry vibe. The boot of the season — the over-the-knee — makes a not-surprising cameo. I can't get these turquoise zebra ankle-wrap sandals out of my head so I guess the ads are working their magic.
