>> For Fall 2009, Maison Michel, whose art director Laetitia Crahay doubles as Chanel's accessories designer, asked her other boss Karl Lagerfeld to photograph the milliner's lookbook.  The result is a veritable list of Chanel favorites — Karl's muse Lady Amanda Harlech, Chanel face Heidi Mount, Karl's male model favorite of the moment Baptiste Giabiconi — and plenty of other models including Lara Stone, Angela Lindvall, Sasha Pivovarova, Erin Wasson, plus surprise appearances by Olivier Theyskens and Crahay herself, all donning the latest in Maison Michel's headgear.

Angela Lindvall Reveals Her Organic Tree Shadows

Beauty and eco-prowess, now that's what I call a model citizen.

Beauty and eco-prowess, now that's what I call a model citizen. Model Angela Lindvall has been living the green life, and now we can live in her efforts. She teamed up with yoox.com’s environmentally sustainable project YOOXYGEN and created a limited edition 100 percent organic cotton EDUN tee. Lindvall’s design is derived from her vision of the environment: “My shirt was created from the shadows of trees. Our shadow side is what sometimes pushes us to grow.” Starting June 30, check out yoox's "ever.green" collections of eco-friendly tees covering themes of design, music, and fashion for both men and women, designed by celebrities. A percentage of proceeds are being donated to Green Cross International, an environmental non-governmental organization.

Angela Lindvall in Khaki Jumpsuit: Love It or Hate It?

Are you feeling jumpsuits yet?

Are you feeling jumpsuits yet? Model Angela Lindvall sure is, because she wore a khaki drawstring jumpsuit to the launch of Russell James's photographic art book in Santa Monica. It has an aviator feel to it, but to downplay that, Angela wore layered necklaces and a feather headpiece. Her sparkly sandals and cropped metallic jacket add further girliness to this otherwise boyish look. What do you make of this — does it tickle your fancy or is it all wrong?

Angela Lindvall Opens Her Home to British Vogue

>> Fashion magazines' latest obsession: capturing models in their natural habitat. Vogue recently captured Lakshmi Menon in her hometown of Goa, India, and now British Vogue sent David Mushegain to photograph Angela Lindvall and her two sons, Dakota and Sebastian, in their hometown of Topanga, California for its July 2009 issue.  Angela and her husband William Edwards have a four bedroom, Mediterranean-style compound on 7.5 acres in the bohemian community near Los Angeles, complete with equestrian ring and pool.

Battle of the Chanel: Lindvall vs. Washington

Next up for your voting pleasure is model Angela Lindvall and actress Kerry Washington.

Next up for your voting pleasure is model Angela Lindvall and actress Kerry Washington. Angela feted Chanel wearing a black LBD with tulle-embellished sleeves. To keep the focus on the frock, Angela accessorized minimally with black caged heels and a cross-body evening bag. On the flip side, Kerry wore a modern black-and-white sheath dress with purple satin pumps, matching ring, light-gray clutch, and diamond studs. Both ladies are wearing all Chanel, all fabulous. Which do you prefer?

Fab Ad: Jimmy Choo Spring '09

Jimmy Choo's Spring '09 campaign is overflowing with sizzling, sexy footwear and accessories.

Jimmy Choo's Spring '09 campaign is overflowing with sizzling, sexy footwear and accessories. Shot by Terry Richardson, Angela Lindvall dons the brand's latest array of the brand's funky stilettos and sandals. I like how the NYC cityscape gives Angela a glamorous, woman-on-the-go vibe. The selection of bold handbags and shoes — all embellished with contrast stitching, rivets, and fun textures — are pure eye candy. Not the most creative campaign but it's effective. Want more? Check this video of the making of the campaign — Tamara speaks so enthusiastically about everything. Tell me: Does this ad make you want to run out and buy a pair of Choos?

Balmain Fall 2009: More of the Same May Not Be Enough

>> Christophe Decarnin has launched the fashion set into Balmania in just a few short seasons with his ripped jeans, strong shoulders, and trashy chic approach, and with Fall 2009, he's not ready to change the formula.  Apparently, the big shoulders were so prevalent in the front row that it caused a squishy situation — and on the runway, two models almost got gridlocked due to their hulking shoulder pads.  Christophe, who stopped by the Prada party last night, admitted he was "a bit nervous," and rightly so — all eyes are on him.

He worked with a simple color palette — black, silver, and white, with a few pops of electric blue — placing the attention on the short, short skirts and the rhinestoned everything. Erin Wasson, Angela Lindvall, and Carmen Kass all made appearances on the runway, and Giuseppe Zanotti did the shoes again, but was it enough?  I'm hearing a lot of disappointment and frustration with Decarnin's decision to stay so formulaic; as Suzy Menkes put it, the "show looked very familiar — not least because new ideas were as short as the models' brief, buttock-grazing hemlines. Since every other house copies his approach, Decarnin will have to find a way to move Balmain forward. But for now he remains, at this sobering-up moment, the last designer to leave the party."

2008 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Unveiled: Lara, Edita, and Sessilee Strut It

>> After weeks of speculation, we got our answers.
Maryna Linchuk (Belarus)

>> After weeks of speculation, we got our answers.  As rumored, Izabel Goulart is no longer a Victoria's Secret Angel — there is speculation that she broke her contract to work for Emporio Armani and Armani Exchange — but she, along with the Angels and 26 other non-Angel models, taped the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Miami on Saturday.  There were a few casting surprises — no Asian models?; some disappointments — no Natasha Poly or Jessica Stam; and lots of newcomers — Arlenis Sosa Pena, Sarah Stephens, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Sessilee Lopez, Clara Alonso, Edita Vilkeviciute, Erin Heatherton, and even Lara Stone made it after all.  Broken glass catwalk aside, Maryna Linchuk had a stellar outing — many have their bets on a Angel contract for her in the future — and Doutzen Kroes cozied up to boyfriend DJ Ruckus at the after-party.  All in all, enough party to hold us over until the show airs Dec. 3.
