Your basic instincts are on the prowl this week: Your Fab Finds were full of leopard, tiger, python, and more leopard. Get ferocious, ladies, and check them all out!

The Fab Finder of the week is leeluvfashion, who found this Fab Mayle leopard top. Every week the Fab Finder I announce Monday morning will receive either a TeamSugar or FabSugar baby tee shirt. I thoroughly enjoy perusing your Fab Finds every week, so dare to be a Fab Finding trendsetter and you just might win a Sugar tee!

Look of the Day

Look of the Day: Into the Wild

krEnElk went into the wild for this one and came out looking absolutely downtown chic.

krEnElk went into the wild for this one and came out looking absolutely downtown chic. I love her play with proportions: the mini dress hem with the ankle booties is a stellar combination.

Here's what she has on:

  • Sweater: Valerie Stevens
  • Dress: Express
  • Tights: Hue
  • Shoes: Payless

Congrats to krEnElk!

I have to give a shout-out to this Banana Republic Silk animal-print top ($30, originally $58) because it already hangs in my closet! I love the vivid colors and the animal print — perfect to carry me well into Spring with that artsy trend that's surfacing.

Belts

Wild Belts

Animal prints are everywhere this season, but they're not for everybody.

Animal prints are everywhere this season, but they're not for everybody. So if you want to ride the pony-hair express or look seductive in snakeskin but are too afraid to get too bold, an animal-print belt is a great way to wear just a touch of the trend. Here are some funky belts that will be sure to make any outfit roar.

The Emilynoelle Sculpted Python Belt is a hot ticket in Hollywood, as the brand is catching the eyes of fashionistas like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Mischa Barton. This very unique-looking belt is made from natural python skin with an ornate gold buckle and a high shine finish. Buy it here for $295.

Streets Ahead Zebra-Print Haircalf Belt is made from three inches of zebra-printed hair. It's leather lined with a circular silver buckle and black leather on the ends. Buy it in black and tan here for $298.

Well-tamed Animal Prints

Every couple of years, the fashion world declares that animal prints are "in," and each time, I just can't seem to embrace the look.

Every couple of years, the fashion world declares that animal prints are "in," and each time, I just can't seem to embrace the look. No matter how pricey the animal prints are, they always end up looking like something you'd wear to a Mississippi casino. One exception: This season's animal-print shoes and handbags from Donald J. Pliner. The designs use leopard and giraffe patterns sparingly and temper them with edgy red and black leather accents for a hip, urban effect.
