Step inside to see how 15 trendsetting fashionistas edged up their sexy frocks with killer ankle, lace-up, and thigh-high boots, then shop the trend for yourself!

>> In its upcoming Americana-themed issue, V Magazine has dedicated an entire editorial to homegrown beauties like Karlie Kloss, Christie Brinkley, and Arizona Muse.
Called "American Idols," the collection of photos features some of the USA's biggest supermodels wearing pre-Fall clothing by some of its greatest designers. Brinkley dons a jacket and pants from Ralph Lauren while Dree Hemingway wears an Alexander Wang bodysuit on the opposite page. Carol Alt smolders in Michael Kors, and Elaine Irwin stands next to her in Donna Karan. But perhaps it's not how the models look as much as what they say about America that makes the spread so special.
"I've done it all," Brinkley says. "Worked at 31 Flavors, walked runways, been a rodeo queen, Broadway. Only in America!"
The Americana issue of V debuts on May 10. For now, take a peek at the spread in the gallery.

>> Arizona Muse says having son Nikko three years ago didn't disrupt her modeling career — in fact, she credits motherhood with turning her body into the unstoppable force that it is today.
"I remember during my first season feeling really well received as a model and a mother," she recently told The Daily Telegraph. "When people asked me things, they asked about being a mother; they weren't asking me about walking down a catwalk. They were real-life things. It was nice."
Since then, Muse's career has skyrocketed. She's appeared in campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton and has walked runways for everyone from Dior to Prada. Muse said that having Nikko (who has already modeled in a J.Crew catalog) is a big part of her success. The model learned she was pregnant while working in New York, and — thinking her career was over — moved to Los Angeles to give birth to and raise Nikko. Later, she decided to move back to New York, where she says she was able to get bookings again fairly easily.
So how did Muse get back to fighting form so quickly? Click through to find out, and see some of her chicest off-duty looks.
Arizona, who has walked runways such as Dior, Chanel, and Carolina Herrera, joins the Estée Lauder ranks alongside spokeswomen Elizabeth Hurley, Constance Jablonski, and Liu Wen. (Learn Constance's and Liu Wen's best beauty advice.) While Arizona has yet to photograph her first campaign, expect to see her featured in various skin care, makeup, and fragrance ads sometime over the next year.
We've already kicked off our Best of 2011 coverage with the most talked about accessories of the year, and now we're moving on with the hottest models of the year. There were four catwalkers that caught our attention this year: Arizona Muse was everywhere, opening and closing runways shows at Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, and Chanel Couture, to name a few. She also became the face of Prada and Yves Saint Laurent and also graced the covers of Vogue Italia, Dazed & Confused, and Numero. Miranda Kerr walked the runways of Balenciaga in March, just mere months after giving birth to her baby boy, Flynn — and hit Dior, Lanvin, and the Victoria's Secret catwalks this year as well. Kate Moss had a huge year too; the model closed both of Marc Jacobs's Fashion Week shows, designed her final collection for Topshop, and biggest of all, got married to The Kills' front man, Jamie Hince, in a romantic ceremony in the English countryside. Last but certainly not least, Karlie Kloss opened the Christian Dior Couture show in Paris, served as the gorgeous face of Oscar de la Renta, and even got her wings — the model walked in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show for the first time just weeks ago. So tell us, which runway beauty snags your vote for the hottest model of 2011?
>> Over the weekend, rumored girlfriends Freja Beha Erichsen and Arizona Muse were snapped doing a photo shoot outside the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, wearing head-to-toe Chloe. Muse was sporting her newly chopped shag — "The thing that kind of started me was that bob — and I felt like it was time for a change," she told Into the Gloss of the new haircut — in what appears to be the upcoming Spring 2012 campaign shoot.
UPDATE:Chloe has confirmed that Erichsen and Muse are indeed the faces of the Chloe Spring 2012 ads. [@Chloe_fashion]
>> Arizona Muse and Freja Beha Erichsen inspired rumors of a romantic relationship during the couture shows last month, and over the past few months, they have been captured embracing by Terry Richardson and featured together in two different Karl Lagerfeld-lensed editorials. Now, they pair up again for Mario Testino and Vogue UK's September 2011 issue in a shoot inspired by the Dutch Masters which Alexandra Shulman says "earns its place among Vogue classics." Beha Erichsen also serves as the magazine's September 2011 cover girl.
