Banana Republic Fall & Holiday 2012

>> The English countryside was a big story during last month's Fall 2012 shows, and Banana Republic's latest offering — filled with aristocratic shapes and equestrian details — feels right on trend for the season. Trenches, pencil skirts, sheath dresses, and tie-neck blouses are cut in dapper fabrics and neatly tailored silhouettes, while the color palette of gray, black, and berry feels ultra-refined. Leather-trimmed capelets, cropped wool trousers, draped cashmere knits, and slim-leather skirts look especially winning, as do gold-tipped pumps and zippered clutches in textured python.
