Kate Middleton's Vacation-Ready Purchases
Kate Middleton caused major excitement yesterday when she hit High Street stores — clad in a black Issa dress and tan kitten heels — to pick up summery pieces worthy of, ahem, a vacation or perhaps a honeymoon, if one were just married. Regardless of why Kate was in the market for Summer clothes, on the eve of her royal wedding, it's nice to see her out shopping like a normal person. At Warehouse, she picked dresses with tropical prints, and according to the Daily Mail, at Peter Jones she chose a pair of Marc Jacobs sunglasses, and blue and white trousers and a yellow top from Whistles. She even hit up a London outpost of Banana Republic, although the retailer refuses to divulge any details. What are your honeymoon essentials?

Shopping: Stacking Your Wrist
It's been hard to find a fashionista who doesn't have a wrist full of bracelets the last few seasons. Part luxury, part junk, part gifts — all sentimental — the stacked wrist has become a style tattoo. It's the place to gleefully combine your mother's hand-me-down baubles with a trio of those friendship bracelets you bought in Costa Rica for 10 cents during Spring break, the love bracelet your best friend gave you, and costume jewelry from J. Crew. We tracked down some stackable bracelets, but keep in mind that you can always get a head start by buying some string and making your own. Lastly, these are truly the best gifts to give your friends, hence the name.

Banana Republic Fall 2011 Promises a Warm, Autumnal Dose of '70s Collegiate
Conjuring images of Ali McGraw in A Love Story, the Banana Republic Fall 2011 collection was filled with textured knits, pencil skirts, and soft layers all done in clean mixes of deep autumnal colors with dark, earthier tones. The knits were a highlight, as was a long camel coat worn casually over the shoulders. Overall, they were the kind of outfits you would love to wear to work, or to your next class at Harvard.
