Tweezing isn't exactly on every woman's list of fun things to do.

Tweezing isn't exactly on every woman's list of fun things to do. But now, thanks to the always-colorful Betsey Johnson, hair removal just got a little more exciting. The kooky designer has collaborated with Tweezerman on a trio of Betsey Johnson Designer Series slanted tweezers ($25 each). The lineup includes a black with the Betsey "babe" face, a neon pink with white Betsey skulls, and a white with pink Betsey rosebuds. Betsey Johnson's Eloise-Themed Plaza Suite Opens Its Doors!

Back in September, I announced that Betsey Johnson would be diving headfirst into her first hotel collaboration, designing an Eloise-themed suite for The Plaza Hotel. Now, the time has finally come, and the pinker-than-pink two-bedroom suite has officially opened its doors! Dressed with sweet pink candy striped wallpaper, gilded French chairs and headboards upholstered in the designer's signature rose prints, girlish dangly crystal chandeliers, tutus hanging in the closet, and framed portraits of Kay Thompson's fabled protagonist, the suite is every little girl's dream. And a dream come true it can be — for a price. A stay in the luxury suite for as many as four little Fifth Avenue princesses runs $995 a night, and includes a monogrammed Eloise bathrobe, a $100 gift card to the hotel's Eloise gift shop, an Eloise camera, a framed photo of the guest inside the suite, and an Eloise book. Chaperones can book the adjoining room for a total of $2,045, and be treated to champagne and truffles. Oh — what I would have given!

Betsey Johnson Taps the Past For a New Scent

Only a few people got the chance to smell the original Betsey Johnson boutique-only scent from the '80s, but if you'd like to, you'll have your chance soon, because the design house has teamed up with fragrance maker Inter Parfums for a new perfume that Betsey says is "as close as we could [get to the original formula]."

Betsey also promises that "It ain't gonna be au natural, sweet, foodlike — like chocolate — [or] patchouli." And she declares that it will bring the menfolk a-running. "If I don't get compliments [on a fragrance], if guys don't like it, I throw it out the window," she says. If you're curious to see what this nonsweet honeytrap of a perfume smells like, it'll be out in Betsey's boutiques and online next month. What do you think? Do you like the idea of this retread, or do you think Betsey should have covered some new territory?
