Zoe Saldana and Megan Fox Strengthen Ties with Calvin Klein and Giorgio Armani, Respectively

>> Two actresses have recently stepped up their loyalties when it comes to their preferred fashion label. Zoe Saldana, who has had a longtime relationship with Calvin Klein — she often wears Calvin Klein Collection on the red carpet and accompanied Francisco Costa to this year's Costume Institute Gala and last year's CFDA Awards — is replacing Eva Mendes as the face of Calvin Klein Underwear for Fall 2010.

Meanwhile, Armani's underwear face — Megan Fox — was missing in action from the Armani Prive front row earlier this week; instead, it turns out that she wore Prive to her wedding two weeks ago.

The 2010 CFDA Awards Are Here! Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, Jason Wu Take Home Wins

>> This evening at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, fashion's finest gathered for the 2010 CFDA Awards.

>> This evening at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, fashion's finest gathered for the 2010 CFDA Awards. Jak & Jil's Tommy Ton snapped photos of the arrivals, J.Crew's Jenna Lyons introduced herself to Isabel Toledo, and the ever-punctual Anna Wintour was later than usual, appearing after the pre-awards cocktails were in full swing.

Wintour put on her signature shades for the ceremony itself, but off they came when International Award winner Christopher Bailey thanked her (along with Tom Ford and Donna Karan) — in fact, she was beaming. Later, she got on stage to present Michael Kors with his Lifetime Achievement Award — he received a standing ovation — and told a story about how she went on a trip to Jamaica with Kors; when Ralph Lauren arrived, Kors got in the ocean and stayed there for hours because he didn't want Lauren to see him in his swimsuit.

Speaking of Lauren, he received the Popular Vote for the second year running — although he wasn't in attendance this evening. Sarah Jessica Parker, dressed in a custom gown by new Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton, presented Lee Alexander McQueen posthumously with the Special Tribute Award, noting that the designer had "the most beautiful hands I've ever seen," before models took the stage in the designer's last works.

Accepting her Fashion Icon Award, Iman thanked her parents for the longest neck on any model at any go-see in the world and joked to husband David Bowie: "Move over. You're not the only icon in the house." And finally, Marc Jacobs scored the Womenwear Award — he thanked bloggers for his win and said to Robert Duffy: "i want to thank [Duffy], without you this dream would never have come true."

And the winners are . . . (nominees here):

  • Accessory Designer of the Year: Alexis Bittar
  • Popular Vote Award: Ralph Lauren
  • Menswear Designer of the Year: Marcus Wainwright and David Neville for Rag & Bone
  • Swarovski Award for Menswear: Richard Chai
  • Swarovski Award for Womenswear: Jason Wu
  • Swarovski Award for Accessories: Alexander Wang
  • Womenswear Designer of the Year: Marc Jacobs

Following in the footsteps of Christy Turlington, Kate Moss, and Natalia Vodianoa (the most recent face of Calvin Klein from 2003 to 2007), 27-year-old Lara Stone has landed one of the world's most coveted modeling gigs—as exclusive face of Calvin Klein. The deal marks the first time the house has selected one model to represent three brands (Calvin Klein Collection, ck Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Jeans).

No stranger to working for the creatives at Calvin Klein, Stone walked exclusively in the spring 2007 collection show and appeared in fall 2007 Calvin Klein Jeans and fall 2008 ck Calvin Klein Beauty campaigns. “I have a long history with the Calvin Klein brand, and so it was wonderful to work with the house again this year,” said Stone. “It’s like being part of a family.”

Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott photographed the fall women's collection campaign (at left) with the minimalist quality of Nineties Calvin Klein. The pair also shot the jeans campaign in which Stone appears with other models, and Fabien Baron photographed Stone for the ck Calvin Klein campaign with Abby Lee Kershaw.

Fab Ad: Lara Stone Exclusive With Calvin Klein, Fall 2010

Lara Stone and Calvin Klein have made history together.

Lara Stone and Calvin Klein have made history together. This is the first time the American house chose one model for all three brands: Calvin Klein Collection, Calvin Klein Jeans, and ck Calvin Klein. Go Lara! "I have a long history with the Calvin Klein brand, and so it was wonderful to work with the house again this year. It’s like being part of a family," said the model. As for creative director Francisco Costa's feelings? "For me, Lara was the perfect choice for the new campaign because she is a woman who epitomizes confidence and sensuality." We'll second that. Below are sneak peeks at Calvin Klein's three Fall campaigns starring Lara.

Stone is set to appear in three Fall 2010 campaigns; the first time that Calvin Klein has chosen one model to do so in years. “I conceived my fall 2010 collection with a self-aware and assured woman in mind,” Francisco Costa said. “For me, Lara was the perfect choice for the new campaign because she is a woman who epitomizes confidence and sensuality.”

Stone's Calvin Klein Collection (below) and Calvin Klein Jeans campaigns were both shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott; in the latter, Stone appears with four male models, including one image which alludes to an outdoor orgy, reports WWD. And Fabien Baron captured the ck Calvin Klein beauty campaign, which features Stone as well as Abbey Lee Kershaw.

Who Was Most Fab at amfAR New York Inspiration Gala?

I don't know what it is about amfAR, but it sure knows how to throw a stylish soiree.

I don't know what it is about amfAR, but it sure knows how to throw a stylish soiree. Celebrities are always outfitted to the max when one of these arise. Last night, celebrities and singers congregated in NYC for the amfAR New York Inspiration Gala. I was going to call it an LBD fest, but Kelly Rowland broke the mold with a white and silver Herve Leger dress. She's not the only one who looked Fab: Estelle showed off her stems in a retro cute short outfit, Kylie Minogue risked it in a sliced LBD with leather sleeve, and Zoe Saldana posed in a sheer print turtleneck dress. Who was most fabulous?
