Best Camouflage Clothes For Fall 2012

There's no doubt that the military trend has legs — it has steadily survived from season to season with nothing more than simple tweaks along the way. This Fall in particular, we're seeing all camouflage everything: a not-so-subtle nod to army influences that always manage to look edgy, sophisticated, or feminine, depending on your styling choices. Check out some of our suggestions below, then click through to shop some chic camouflage pieces that will help you stand out rather than fade into the background.

  • For an edgier look, pair your camouflage jeans with a worn-in rocker tee and leather jacket. Add biker boots or studded jeans — and just see if anyone tries messing with you.
  • Camo can look cool and girlie in a snap — throw a printed utility jacket over your flirtiest white dress then throw on pretty heels and jewelry. It's an unexpected look that's totally worth wearing out on the town.
  • The military trend can definitely be office-appropriate; try tucking a crisp button-down blouse into a camouflage skirt or layering a camo dress under a fitted blazer. Cinch the look at your natural waist with a leather belt for a sleek silhouette.

I think North would look super cute in that bandana, but are you a fan of these products for your pets?

Marc Jacobs and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami are at it again. They have recently collaborated on a monogramouflage collection, which is pretty self explanatory. This Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage Jasmine Bag ($1,770) is an offspring from the partnership. This bag is simply too macho for my taste. Do you love it or hate it?

Manolo Blahnik Campari Suede Mary Jane: Love It or Hate It?

Is it just me, or is this Manolo Blahnik Campari Suede Mary Jane ($555), G.I.

Is it just me, or is this Manolo Blahnik Campari Suede Mary Jane ($555), G.I. Jane gone wrong? Even though Marc Jacobs claims camouflage is a forever icon, sometimes you just have to say no. I'm all for the occasional patriotic print, but Mary Janes?! I think camo is best worn casual, not dressy. I could only see SJP pulling these off — not me.
