Izabel Goulart

2008 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Unveiled: Lara, Edita, and Sessilee Strut It

>> After weeks of speculation, we got our answers.
Maryna Linchuk (Belarus)

>> After weeks of speculation, we got our answers.  As rumored, Izabel Goulart is no longer a Victoria's Secret Angel — there is speculation that she broke her contract to work for Emporio Armani and Armani Exchange — but she, along with the Angels and 26 other non-Angel models, taped the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Miami on Saturday.  There were a few casting surprises — no Asian models?; some disappointments — no Natasha Poly or Jessica Stam; and lots of newcomers — Arlenis Sosa Pena, Sarah Stephens, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Sessilee Lopez, Clara Alonso, Edita Vilkeviciute, Erin Heatherton, and even Lara Stone made it after all.  Broken glass catwalk aside, Maryna Linchuk had a stellar outing — many have their bets on a Angel contract for her in the future — and Doutzen Kroes cozied up to boyfriend DJ Ruckus at the after-party.  All in all, enough party to hold us over until the show airs Dec. 3.

Victoria's Secret

Arlenis, Abbey Lee, Maryna, Sarah Stephens, and Erin Heatherton All Score VS Fashion Show

>> As the Victoria's Secret yacht rolled into Miami and the girls had a beach photoshoot today, we got to see of the 30 non-Angel faces that will be participating in this weekend's fashion show — 19 of them, to be exact.  No sign of Lara Stone, Jessica Stam, or Natasha Poly, but after missing yesterday's event, Izabel Goulart is there.  There are plenty of new faces — Abbey Lee Kershaw and Sarah Stephens represent Australia, Arlenis Sosa Pena the Dominican Republic, Maryna Linchuk Belarus, and Erin Heatherton the US.*image: source, source

Chloe

You've Come a Long Way, Chloé!

I recently talked to you about the fashion metamorphosis of Chloé, more specifically its changing head designers.

I recently talked to you about the fashion metamorphosis of Chloé, more specifically its changing head designers. Now it's my pleasure to showcase the house's ad campaign transformation from 2003 until now. Over time, Chloé has delivered murky yet polished campaigns, with top models in decidedly serious dispositions.

In Fall of 2003, Angela Lindvall channeled a hot hippie chick. Fall 2004 (left) had Caroline Winberg and Dewi Driegen expressing anger in contrastingly feminine duds.

Double Take: Celebrity Clones, Part Deux

Being the celebrity clone-finder that I am, I have a fresh bunch of celebrity clones for you.

Being the celebrity clone-finder that I am, I have a fresh bunch of celebrity clones for you. First up, model Lisa Cant and actress Alexis Bledel. The similarity in their big, round baby blue eyes is undeniable, as is their rounded facial structure and fair skin. What's more, they're both delicate and doll-like. They can easily pass as sisters. If that were the case, Alexis would be the older one at 26, and Lisa would be the younger at 23. That's crazy because Alexis' baby face could have fooled me to think she's in her teens.

Model of the Week

Model of the Week: Caroline Winberg

Welcome to the second installment of Model of the Week.

Welcome to the second installment of Model of the Week. I've written a five question interview that I have conducted with several fashion models to share with you. The questions are both fun and beauty related and will always remain the same. Don't forget to check out my first Model of the Week featuring Jessica Stam.

Here's a little about the gorgeous Caroline Winberg (pronounced Vin-berg). She was born in Sweden on March 27th, 1985, and was discovered at the age of 16 after being allegedly harassed by Mick Jagger. The rocker became smitten with her after watching her at a fashion show and began calling her incessantly. He of course, denies any and all involvement in such a scandal.

You may recognize Caroline from her campaigns for Valentino, Chloé, Versace, Victoria's Secret, Neiman Marcus, Mango and Ungaro. She has also graced the covers of Italian Vogue, Russian Vogue, and German Vogue. She has the reputation of being hard working and intelligent. I found her to be outgoing, kind, upbeat and extremely gracious.
