Despite the rain, the 139th Kentucky Derby rolled into Churchill Downs today, bringing with it all the hats, horses, and mint juleps that mark the annual event. Stars got a head start on celebrating last night at parties all over Louisville, and the fun continued today as famous faces and fans watched Orb win the Kentucky Derby in the stands. Lauren Conrad, who flew in on Thursday, brought a neutral look and lavish topper to bet on the horses, while Armie Hammer and his wife were dressed to the nines as well. Krysten Ritter and Jennifer Tilly chose over-the-top hats for their day at the races, and model Coco Rocha met up with Steffi Graf for a special event yesterday. The White House Correspondents' Dinner took place in Washington DC last night. A roster of Hollywood stars kicked things off Friday night. Downton Abbey met Mad Men when Michelle Dockery and Jessica Paré made the rounds at The New Yorker's party. And last night, stars Amy Poehler, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Olivia Wilde, Jason Sudeikis, and more got together for drinks before the big dinner. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend brought their good looks to City Harvest's annual Practical Magic fundraising event in NYC last night. The bash drew stars from both film and the world of food, including Richard Gere and a Chloe-clad Elizabeth Olsen — whom Chrissy and John mingled with inside the event — and Top Chef star Tom Colicchio and Eric Ripert, who is the chair of City Harvest's Food Council. It isn't clear if Chrissy partook in any libations during the fete, but she did reveal after the charity shindig that she is swearing off alcohol for the time being. She tweeted today, "I feel like if I say this publicly, the chances of succeeding will rise. I am going sober. First for a month, then taking it from there. Alcohol is just not as fun and relaxing as it used to be. Want to feel truly good again!"

Last night, Bono cohosted a Coachella party that drew stars ranging from John Legend to Joe Jonas. Bono's clothing company, Edun — which he cofounded with his wife Ali Hewson in 2005 — teamed up with Diesel to throw their Studio Africa soiree on the first official night of the 2013 festival. The brands launched the Studio Africa project this year as an effort to spotlight fashion, music, and other arts from the continent.

Solange Knowles played DJ for the night at yesterday evening's bash, and Congolese-Belgian musician Baloji performed for the crowd. While plenty of the attendees have a musical pedigree of their own, such as John, plenty of actors and other celebrities hit the party, which was held at a private estate in La Quinta, CA. John and his fiancée, Chrissy Teigen, were spotted hanging out with stylist Brad Goreski, while Kellan Lutz, Theresa Palmer, Joe Jonas, and Mad Men's Jessica Paré rounded out the VIP crowd.
