The Best of Resort 2014: Accessories Edition
The Resort 2014 collections certainly warrant a closer look, right down to the very last detail. But it's not just the never-ending supply of lightweight fabrics and vacation-ready pieces that make these collections ripe for Summer styling; the shoes, the bags, and the glittering jewels do the bulk of the statement-making.
Ombré colorways provide new meaning to bright palettes, floral-embroidered tapestry bags double as chic beach totes, already-sexy pointy-toe pumps are transformed with even sexier cutouts, and modified takes on the evening clutch aren't limited to graphic motifs and raffia finishes. Jennifer Aniston Hits the Guys Choice Awards in Raf Simons' Dior
Nicole Kidman, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Rooney Mara, and Carey Mulligan are just a few in a long list of fashion darlings and actresses to take Raf Simons from the runway to the red carpet. The latest is Jennifer Aniston, who chose a black strapless Dior minidress for the 2013 Guys Choice Awards. Ever since Belgian designer Simons, formerly of Jil Sander, took the reins at the legendary label, he's presented five exquisite collections. Naturally, stars like Cotillard (the face of Lady Dior) and Jennifer Lawrence (the face of Miss Dior handbags) have flocked to his jaw-dropping gowns, and we can totally see why. Simons is breathing new life into the design house by taking iconic past-collection references (think New Look from the 1940s) and updating them with a modern twist. Step inside to see all the stars who have donned Simons's designs for Dior now.
Cannes Best Dressed: Crown Your Red Carpet Queen
Far outweighing the glamour of most other red carpets, the Cannes Film Festival is as much about the jaw-dropping couture as it is about the movies. This year's fest was no exception — from start to finish, we were treated to a lineup of A-list dressing. Given the nonstop glamour, it's not easy to play favorites, but we've narrowed it down to just a handful of the most stunning Cannes arrivals. Cara Delevingne lit up the scene in a sultry black lace Burberry gown, Freida Pinto wowed in brilliant color with a bright pink Gucci gown, and Jessica Biel hit the carpet in a frothy, feathery Marchesa confection and a megawatt serpent necklace.

Not to be outdone, Marion Cotillard dazzled in an elegant white Dior dress, and Nicole Kidman played official juror in a decadent and ultrafeminine Valentino Couture gown. Of these five most memorable fashion moments, who's your Cannes red carpet queen? Cast your vote now.

Which Dior-Clad Beauty Gets Your Best-Dressed Vote?
The dreamy clothes at the Christian Dior Resort 2014 show didn't stop at runway's end. The collection, which was presented in Monaco over the weekend, also played host to one very stylish front row. Jessica Biel chose this stunning Fall 2013 dress — a look that perfectly encapsulated ladylike glamour with its houndstooth-print bustier and draped black skirt. Meanwhile, Marion Cotillard chose a no-frills white pre-Fall 2013 leather trench coat, only to spice things up with a pair of neon cap-toe pumps. And Liv Tyler went with an all-black — and navy — approach in a Dior bustier. Now that you've got the fashion facts, who gets your best-dressed vote in the Dior showdown?

Christian Dior Resort 2014
On Saturday evening, Christian Dior presented its Resort 2014 collection in Monaco. The principality has held special meaning for the house since 1956, when actress Grace Kelly wore a Dior gown to celebrate her engagement to Prince Rainier of Monaco.
The return to Monaco was both an homage to the house's heritage and also a signal of a new era in how (and where) the label stages its Resort collection, with plans to always take the collection abroad going forward. But this wasn't the only poignant moment to come with Saturday's showing. For the first time, Raf Simons incorporated lace into his pieces, working the fabric into everything from sheer blouses and fitted crop tops to modified coatdresses and relaxed sheaths. "I thought it's kind of old and too romantic and too tragic. And suddenly I thought, it's a challenge to make it modern and edgy and kind of futuristic," he said.

Met Gala: Best Dressed

The 2013 Met Gala best-dressed set could easily be likened to the fashion Olympics, and this year's Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibition turnout made it harder than ever to pick only five gold-medal contenders. Beyoncé Knowles spared no head-turning detail in a custom Givenchy Haute Couture flame-embroidered gown; Gwyneth Paltrow stood out in a covered-up hot pink Valentino number; Rooney Mara played the edgy card in a custom Givenchy Haute Couture gown, complete with floral embroidery, zippers, ruffles, and a split-front opening; Jennifer Lawrence chose ladylike Dior (and that Jennifer Behr netted veil!); and Katie Holmes stunned in a downright ethereal custom Calvin Klein creation. It's a close one, but it's time for you to declare a best-dressed winner of the night.

Met Gala: Which Olsen Twin Has Your Vote?
As two of today's youngest style icons, special attention should be paid to what Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen wore to the Met Gala. Both sisters went vintage, with Ashley picking a beaded orange dress with gauzy overlay from Dior Couture. Mary-Kate opted for Chanel and stepped out in a beaded, crop-waist black dress covered with a fur-trimmed robe. Which Olsen twin has your vote tonight?

Met Gala: Marion Cotillard
Marion Cotillard has honed her red-carpet reputation with pieces that appear basic at first glance but reveal something more interesting upon second (or third) glance. And at the Met Gala, Cotillard's strapless Dior dress had two asymmetrical lines and the graceful fall of the skirt flipped back to reveal a spot of daffodil yellow. Are you a fan, or would you like to see more oomph?
