Kate Bosworth, always a lady.

Kate Bosworth, always a lady. She showed her pretty face to support Burberry designer Christopher Bailey's beauty launch. At a garden tea party in Beverly Hills, Kate wore a beige and gold sheer pre-Fall Burberry dress and neutral accessories. The tan belt breaks up the monochrome neutrals while a funky embellished bag adds a touch of whimsy. Tea time!

Burberry lovers rejoice! Today, the British brand launches its cosmetics collection at Nordstrom.

Burberry lovers rejoice! Today, the British brand launches its cosmetics collection at Nordstrom. Two years in the making, the collection delivers a light, natural look through foundation, powder, bronzer, eye shadow, and lipstick. In a nod to the brand's iconic trenchcoats, the packaging incorporates gabardine textures and — of course — the signature check, seen on the gunmetal exterior and embossed on the product itself. Don't be surprised if the lipsticks become a runaway hit; smooth, creamy, and richly pigmented, they're as luxurious as anything Burberry has sent down the runway.

Fab Ad: Emma Watson (and Brother!), Burberry Spring 2010

One of our favorite celebrity model ads of '09 was Emma Watson for Burberry — that, we all agreed on.

One of our favorite celebrity model ads of '09 was Emma Watson for Burberry — that, we all agreed on. Emma is a great fit for the brand: modern, cool, classic beauty. We're happy to share that Emma once again stars in the house's Spring ads, brother in tow. The up-and-coming 17-year-old Alex Watson makes his modeling debut alongside his sis, with Mario Testino behind the lens. Shot in London, the set was made to look like an 18th century townhouse. Some rock royalty are also in the mix: musicians George Craig and Matt Gilmour, the son of Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour. Though the images are pretty bag-heavy, they are bold, yet breezy. Thoughts?

Spills and Thrills at the 2009 British Fashion Awards

>> Last night's British Fashion Awards provided a forum for all kinds of announcements — Christopher Bailey, who accepted both BFC Designer Brand of the Year for Burberry and BFC Designer of the Year, confirmed that Burberry will show in London again for Fall 2010; and Victoria Beckham said she's planning to take an active role in the BFC that in which she would mentor young designers or serve as an ambassador.

Christopher Kane was awarded BFC British Collection of the Year, Kate Moss won the publicly-voted London 25 Award, Peter Pilotto nabbed the Swarovski Emerging Talent Award for Ready-to-wear, and Georgia May Jagger took the BFC Model of the Year award — "Thank you so much to the BFC for picking me. I'd just like to say [fellow nominees] Daisy [Lowe] and Rosie [Huntington-Whiteley] are amazing girls and amazing models. Thanks to my mum for being the biggest inspiration."

But the model who really stole the night was Karen Elson, who, when onstage to present Grace Coddington with the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator, walked straight into the orchestra pit and fell four feet out of sight.  She emerged minutes later, ”I am the clumsiest person on this earth. I cannot believe I just did that. That is the worst fall I have ever had. I might have broken a rib, but I’m fine.” After presenting, she took to the emergency room to see about her injuries — including a sprained thumb.

Christopher Bailey Takes Home Top Prize, Karen Elson Tumbles at British Fashion Awards

Winding down the year-long celebrations for London Fashion Week's 25th anniversary, Britain's most stylish crowd headed to the Royal Courts of Justice last night to toast the year's best fashion talent.

Winding down the year-long celebrations for London Fashion Week's 25th anniversary, Britain's most stylish crowd headed to the Royal Courts of Justice last night to toast the year's best fashion talent.

Christopher Bailey took home the evening's top award, winning Designer of the Year, while Burberry was honored with Brand of the Year.

In the Model of the Year category, Georgia May Jagger beat out Daisy Lowe. Kate Moss walked away with a new award, London 25, for which the public voted on their favorite London fashion personality. Moss also picked up John Galliano's award for Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design on behalf of the absent designer.

Christopher Kane received Collection of the Year, and American Vogue's Grace Goddington was the recipient of the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator. On her way up to the stage to present Coddington with the award, Karen Elson missed her step and fell into the orchestra pit wearing floor length red velvet Alexander McQueen. The former winner of British Model of the Year promptly recovered and once safely at the podium declared, "That is the worst fall I have ever had. I might have broken a rib.”

In the new talent categories, Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos shared The Swarovski Emerging Talent Award for Ready to Wear, and Holly Fulton took home the accessories award.
