Zac Zac Posen Resort 2014: Dressing the Glamorous Tomboy

"Tomboy" isn't a word normally associated with Zac Posen's designs, but his Resort 2014 collection for his secondary line, Zac Zac Posen, wanders bravely into that territory.

"Tomboy" isn't a word normally associated with Zac Posen's designs, but his Resort 2014 collection for his secondary line, Zac Zac Posen, wanders bravely into that territory.

The collection, while filled with the kinds of cocktail and occasion dresses that are Posen's bread and butter, also includes a number of pieces with a decidedly masculine edge. For the collection's lookbook, model Coco Rocha donned a short red wig and posed in pieces like a green metallic motorcycle jacket and a Prince of Wales check overcoat and trousers.

Posen rounded out the collection with an array of his usual suspects: dresses with brilliant, body-conscious seaming cut from floral prints and solid pale pink and green, and full-length gowns perfect for injecting a little color into parties come the holidays.

Coco Rocha Now Moonlighting as a Tech Columnist

The endlessly multitalented Coco Rocha has added another line to her résumé with a stint as a columnist for a magazine.

The endlessly multitalented Coco Rocha has added another line to her résumé with a stint as a columnist for a magazine. But it's not a fashion glossy she's writing for. Instead, Rocha has joined the team at PC Magazine.

"It might seem a little strange to have a high fashion model write for a technology magazine, but I'm actually the kind of girl who'd rather buy a new tablet over a new pair of heels any day of the week," Rocha wrote in a blog post explaining her new job. "Hopefully in my column for PCMag you'll see the ways I think the worlds of fashion and technology can and are coming together."

That intersection makes sense for Rocha, who's known for her social media prowess — she was the first model to break a million followers on Google+, and she's been a featured speaker at technology conferences like the Bespoke Luxury Summit in Sydney, Australia.

Rocha's first monthly column, published earlier this month, is about 3D printing and how it might change the fashion industry.

"What I'd like to see in 3D printing is an increased number of wearable materials," Rocha writes. "I know that we are right on the cusp of a serious revolution in the way we buy, sell, and manufacture clothing, and I think if the right industry leaders jump on these opportunities, this could be a golden time in fashion."

Which Celebrity Aced the Derby Dress Code?

No look at The Kentucky Derby is complete without a hat.

No look at The Kentucky Derby is complete without a hat. That was evident from this weekend's festive celebrity looks from Lauren Conrad, Krysten Ritter, and Coco Rocha, who finished their ladylike ensembles with coordinating headwear. Coco Rocha made an entrance in sophisticated skirt suiting — but it was the dramatic orchid-adorned headpiece that really turned heads. Krysten Ritter dressed up her floral-print dress and Bionda Castana heels with a floppy ribbon-trimmed hat, and Lauren Conrad paired a soft nude polka-dot sheath dress with a nude floral-adorned fascinator. That's the rundown on who wore what — now, take in the hat-topped looks below and cast your vote for the Derby's best dressed.

It was a fun, photo-filled week around the world for some of our snap-happy style setters.

It was a fun, photo-filled week around the world for some of our snap-happy style setters. Poppy Delevingne hit Italy and sported an envy-inducing Chanel snapback, while Nicole Richie and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stuck to classic bohemian-cool wide-brimmed hats. Cat Deeley may have topped them all, though, getting in full character at a French restaurant by wearing a sleek beret. Coco Rocha and Hilary Rhoda both hung out in NYC, while Emma Roberts kicked it — in a cool '90s grunge look — at Coachella. Emmy Rossum got to "play dress-up" in Jenny Packham's glamorous gowns, and Miranda Kerr posed with a pair of very lucky pilots after a flight to Australia on Qantas Airways.

Coco Rocha, in Case You Didn't Know, Is Also a Singer

Consider Coco Rocha a quadruple threat.

Consider Coco Rocha a quadruple threat. Even if she doesn't like to call herself a supermodel, she's widely known for her prowess as a dancer and a television personality, and now she's putting her singing skills to professional use, too.

Rocha is the star of a new video touting an editorial in an upcoming issue of Hunger Magazine called "Coco + Cavalli." The two-minute clip features Rocha dancing and posing in Roberto Cavalli's Spring 2013 collection, but it also sees her singing a short song called "I Wanna," which was written specifically for this video. The vibe of the video, produced by Hunger's editor in chief, John Rankin Waddell, is decidedly more rock and roll than the Irish jig. But if Rocha has proven anything in her career, it's that she can take on any assignment and make it look easy.
