The ombré hair color trend is still going strong with a high-contrast update. While a subtle transition from dark to light has been the ideal for ombré in the past, a new norm is emerging: colorblocked strands. Recently, celebrities have been spotted wearing a look that is more dip-dyed with an obvious division between roots and tips. Coco Rocha is letting her flaming ends grow out with her brunette color meandering at chin-length. Amber Heard's dark hair immediately shifts to blond around eye level, while Sarah Jessica Parker softens the abrupt transition from dark to light with a few blonde highlights around the face.     Zac Posen is known for his glamorous runways, and for Fall 2013 he paired his red-carpet-worthy frocks with crimped chignons and deep berry lips. The updos, according to key hairstylist Luigi Murenu for John Frieda, offered a sense of lightness when paired with the gowns. And as for the makeup, artist Kabuki for MAC described it as an almost reverse smoky eye, inspired by the supermodels of the '90s. A brick-red lip punctuated the look.     Supermodels and celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova, Brad Goreski, and Tyson Beckford celebrated the premiere of Oxygen's new reality series The Face last night in NYC. The show features major models, including Naomi, Karolina, and Coco Rocha, guiding two dozen young hopefuls toward reaching their dreams. It was apt timing for the debut of the series, with New York Fashion Week kicking off tomorrow.

    Last night, Naomi chose Alaïa, Coco went for a sheer Emilio Pucci gown, and Karolina showed off her curves in a Dimitri fringed dress. The men in attendance also brought their style game. Tyson Beckford, Brad Goreski, designer Zac Posen, and The Face's Nigel Barker all suited up for the occasion. The new show doesn't air on Oxygen until next Tuesday, but in the meantime, the first episode of The Face is available online now.
