Why We Covet: A few Summers ago I traveled to St. Tropez for my friend's wedding, and there was no weekend more casually glamorous or beautiful than that weekend in August on the French Riviera. All the women seemed to have the perfect suit and the beachiest tunic. It made me realize the value of one incredibly sexy, perfectly cut, high-quality, gorgeously-printed bikini. Because if you have that, you'll be forced to spend all your time on some beautiful beach to make the most of it. And you'll never fret over what to wear to a beach barbecue because you'll have this bikini and this gorgeous tunic to throw over it.

Why We Covet: As much as we love our sky-high heels, we'll always maintain a soft spot for ladylike kitten heels, and the way Jackie O and Audrey Hepburn wore them. These manage to convey that same kind of chic, but with a renegade twist. With studs, leopard-print, and the strappy details, these lend themselves just as easily to our working wear, as they do to our skinny jeans, miniskirts, and cocktail dresses. Why We Covet: Hello, beautiful. We love, really, really love, Jason Wu's feminine and delicate take on womenswear. The dress is gorgeous and sexy from afar, but get up close and that's where you see how special it is. The silk organza dress has a black tulle-covered bodice, and the layered skirt at the waist falls into a gorgeous lace and organza ruffle down the front. The combination of feminine details — lace, boning, ruffles — with the nude, blush, and black colors make this one dreamy and completely sophisticated dress.

The Piece: Charlotte Olympia Miranda Wedges

Why We Covet: You know that if you wear these, at least ten women, and probably a few men, are going to stop you on the street and ask you where you got these fabulous shoes. They're meant to be checked out. They're meant to get attention. They're meant to make you six feet tall because they have whopping 6-inch wedge heels, but you won't die of discomfort because of the 2.5-inch platform. Why We Covet: It's badass. I mean, really badass. The green leather clutch, perfect for black-tie and red-carpet events, has that surprise kick of being covered in gold studs and a gold skull that's been encrusted with Swarovski crystals. It's unusual, attention-getting, cool, but beautiful. And in 20 years your kid will be rifling through your closet and say, "Hey, Mom, that clutch is way too cool for you. Can I have it?" To which you, obviously, say no.

Why We Covet: A nude palette is a huge trend for Spring, and we're looking for sophisticated ways to toughen up the soft, feminine color. Thank you, Jimmy Choo. This shoe is gorgeous, with the mix of edgy snakeskin and romantic lace. We would wear these with nude or white outfits, or skinny jeans and a long tank. In the Winter, we'd throw tights on and wear them with black dresses for a sexy gothic look. We would also probably go to sleep at night with these beauties on the pillow next to us.
