Maiyet dispatched Daria Werbowy and photographer Cass Bird to India for its Spring 2013 campaign — the fourth season in a row that Werbowy has posed for the brand.
Once in India — where Maiyet sources some of its artisanal wares — Bird photographed the model sailing along the Ganges River, dancing in Jaipur's Amber Fort, and biking through the backstreets of Varanasi.
The clothes in the ads will be available for purchase on Maiyet's website starting on Wednesday. Get a look at the pieces here in the gallery.

"Just say it with the eyes," Betty Boop — yes, that Betty Boop — tells Daria Werbowy in this adorable new mini film from Lancôme. Created in honor of the brand's new Hypnôse Star Mascara and directed by Joann Sfar, the film features Werbowy as an up-and-coming ingenue in need of some sage advice from a veteran star. "I've been in the business since black and white," Boop assures her.

The chemistry between the two talents is undeniable, and Werbowy is charming. After all, it's not easy to act opposite a drawing — even one as charismatic as Boop. Lancôme's Hypnôse Star Mascara hits Sephora for pre-sale July 9.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! The unofficial start of summer marks this weekend, and for us that means glorious anticipation of a season of beach trips, barbeques, and total chillin'. To kick things off, we've gathered 15 of our favorite swimsuit editorials, with ultra gorgeous appearances from models including Daria, Lara, and Arlenis. Click to see hot models and hot swimsuits come together in our Memorial Day ode to the swimsuit.
Daria Werbowy's laid-back beauty seems tailor made for this sun-washed Summer editorial in T magazine. Shot by fashion photographer Cass Bird, the shoot brings us right back to those perfect Summer days: living in a swimsuit, making sandcastles on the beach, and sunset boat rides. It really seems like an endless Summer in this shoot, and the carefree styling — think Alexander Wang tees and J. Crew bikini tops — drives home the fact that Summer is the time to dress down. Click the slideshow to see all of Daria's looks and those long, willowy legs. For the inside scoop on Daria and the St. Bart's photo shoot, visit T Magazine, where you can also watch a cool video of Daria hanging out on, and jumping off of, her lovely sailboat.
It doesn't hit newsstands until Feb. 25, but highlights from Carine Roitfeld's final issue as editor in chief of French Vogue have been released online. Her replacement, the lovely Emmanuelle Alt, has been making her first real public debut at Fashion Week in New York and London, and we're just as excited for her first issue. The March issue's theme is fantasy, and Carine referenced surrealist artist Salvador Dali in stories featuring supermodels like Karolina Kurkova, Daria Werbowy, and Lara Stone. Click on the slideshow to get your sneak peek inside the much-anticipated issue. Be forewarned: there is a touch of nudity so this is NSFW.
>> During couture, Emmanuelle Alt hinted that Vogue Paris under her direction would be "the same, but different"; Vogue's Mark Holgate got her to expand a little more on her vision for the magazine:
“I want to keep the quality, the photographers we work with — David [Sims], Mert and Marcus, Mario [Testino], and Bruce Weber. I don’t think there should be radical changes. The magazine should still be chic and sophisticated. It’s a bit like buying an apartment: Before you move in, you have all these plans of what you are going to do, but then you get there, and you realize it is better to spend time living in it, and transforming it over time. I’d like there to be more beauty trends; there was so much of that in Vogue back in the eighties. More French girls, more French lifestyle. And I am going to keep shooting for the magazine — hopefully a story every issue." She adds: "I always want a relationship with reality: nothing too sexy, or provocative, or fashion victim. We are French — we can show smoking, nudity. We have no boundaries, and it can be good to have them."
As for her position on celebrity covers: “We don’t have a systematic point of view on it. But here in France we are back in a much more glamorous time. French actresses were respected, but not so evidently in the fashion world. Now we have Marion Cotillard, Charlotte Gainsbourg. I’d be very happy to put an actress on the cover if she is the right girl.” And her model favorites are no surprise: “Daria [Werbowy] is the girl I work with the most. She has a natural, strong beauty. You can put her in a white tee and she will make it look fantastic. I like Kate [Moss] too, because she cares about clothes. Most models don’t care what you put them in, they just play the game.”
We just got a sneak peek of Isabel Marant's latest ads for Spring 2011, and it appears the French designer has given her muse Daria Werbowy a bit of a break by choosing to go with Gisele Bundchen! I have to admit, Daria and Isabel make one helluva duo, but Gisele is no poor choice. We can't wait to see more. Isabel has summoned some major model power for her previous ad campaigns — Kate Moss and Milla Jovovich also being part of the fashion mix. Click through to see some of these famous ads, then vote, who's the most Fab Marant model?
>> After seasons and seasons of Carmen Kass-fronted ads, Michael Kors has switched to another Estonian-born Karmen this season: Karmen Pedaru, who Kors paired with Simon Nessman for his Spring 2011 ad campaign. “They’re both youthful and elegant all at once — which makes them so very Michael Kors,” the designer explained. A first look at that — plus Daria Werbowy for Celine by Juergen Teller (left), and Lara Stone exercising her Calvin Klein exclusive for the second season running — among the latest batch of Spring 2011 ad images.
