A while ago, I posed this question: Do you prefer Erin Wasson polished or grungy? Let's take it a step further and check out a few more models who undergo major transformations when they model. Agyness Deyn is way punky in her personal life, so it's not so strange seeing her in a grungy editorial, like the one on the left. But, I am a bit taken aback when I see her looking polished in a glamorous gown and heels, like in the Giorgio Armani ad.

The runway spectacle, which takes place on Sept. 7 at 7:30 pm at Lincoln Center’s Josie Robertson Plaza, will show off Vogue's top Fall trends displayed by over 150 models — including Karlie Kloss, Chanel Iman, Raquel Zimmermann, and Daria Werbowy — to a 1,500 capacity audience. It seems like I have been waiting weeks to post on Daria's latest collaboration with H&M. It seems every other day a new image would come out, and still no updated H&M site. Well, it is finally updated Daria lovers. Alas, all of the shots aren't in HQ yet, but I can guarantee you they will be here when they are available! The campaign this time is titled Ladies & Men, not very creative, but who really cares? Now, I am going to say I think this is the full campaign, but we might be surprised.

She is absolutely beyond stunning, nothing new. She looks like a goddess, an H&M goddess. No wonder why they keep going back to her. And I love how they are very Fall-y (or Pre-Fall-y), you know? I will admit, I did already buy the gray sweater when I saw the poster of her in it a few weeks ago . . .

While some of fashion's greatest have been hit hard from troubling economic times, one sector has profited during the demise: counterfeits.

"If you're a luxury brand and you don't think you're being counterfeited, you're living in a cave," said Harley Lewin, intellectual property lawyer. "It's a constant fight."

With consumers not being able to afford the "real thing," the counterfeit market has gained monetary momentum in the past couple of years selling fake shoes, bags, and other goods online and in stores. Such illegitimate business — which mostly comes from China — cost retailers about $250 billion a year and 750,000 lost jobs. That said, brands are suffering while impostors are reaping the benefits of hard times. Are you tempted to buy fake goods during tough times?

Gisele Bundchen Tops Forbes's Top-Earning Model List for Sixth Consecutive Year in 2010

>> Forbes just released their yearly list of top-earning models: Gisele Bundchen holds the top spot — which she's had for at least six years now — with $25 million in estimated earnings from June 2009 to June 2010.In fact, there hasn't been a lot of movement in the list in the past year — for 2010, the top ten is exactly the same for the second year in a row, with the exception of Natalia Vodianova moving up from seventh position to tie Alessandra Ambrosio in sixth place.  Same goes for earnings — not a lot of change: Bundchen, Heidi Klum, Doutzen Kroes, Natalia Vodianova, Daria Werbowy are all estimated to be pulling in the same amount this year as they did last year, with the rest of the top ten's earnings only going up or down by half a million.
