Dolce & Gabbana is known for its glamour, so it's only natural for the Italian house to offer a ruby-shaped lip palette for the holidays. The Lip Jewels ($60) is a quartet of cream lipsticks designed by famed makeup artist Pat McGrath, who used these colors during Dolce & Gabbana's Spring 2011 show. The lipsticks in this Saks-exclusive palette are packed with pigment, and the wear is pretty good, too. If you're looking to splurge, here's what they look like on a regular, nonmodel lady. (Me.)

Dolce & Gabbana May Go To Trial for Tax Evasion
>> Dolce & Gabbana's tax evasion saga continues. Though the designers have vehemently denied any wrongdoing, they may have to go to trial for the case which began in 2008 after they sold Dolce & Gabbana and D&G to their Luxembourg-based holding company in 2004. Milan-based prosecutor Laura Pedio confirmed today that Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been indicted, although she couldn't speak to when the preliminary hearing would be. If the designers are found guilty, they would be personally liable for more than $1 billion in unpaid taxes and fines and could be assigned up to a three year prison sentence. It is unclear of they and their legal team plan to go to trial or negotiate out of court if the preliminary hearing judge decides to proceed. [WWD, WWD]

Stefano Gabbana's Twitter Reveals That He's Not Familiar with Stella McCartney or Her Work
>> After one of his Twitter friends asked him if he liked Stella McCartney two days ago, Stefano Gabbana replied in Italian, "Who??????" And when the friend Tweeted back in Italian, "I gather you don't like Stella McCartney?" Gabbana shoots back, "Who????? The daughter of the singer????" adding, "What’s she known for? What’s her specialty?" and "What sort of style does she do? What’s so special about it??" When the friend explains McCartney's staples and says of the designer, "Although she’s really famous … she’s still an 'emerging' designer!!!" Gabbana Tweets back in Italian, "Aaaaaaa......I see you appreciate nonentities!!!! Bravo!!! and "Yeah, she's emerging from 15 years of doing nothing!!!! Hahahaha." [DailyFrontRow]
Early Spring 2011 Campaign Rumors — Gisele Bundchen for Balenciaga, Plus More!
>> It's early on in the Spring 2011 campaign race, but it seems that former (and current) Victoria's Secret Angels are still going strong when it comes to fronting luxury houses. Not only did Gisele Bundchen walk in Balenciaga's recent show, she's reportedly set to appear in the brand's upcoming Spring 2011 campaign, shot by Steven Meisel. No word on whether some of the other major faces who also walked — Amber Valletta, Carolyn Murphy among them — might also join.
Meanwhile, Izabel Goulart, who was a Spring 2011 Givenchy runway exclusive, is rumored to be appearing alongside Riccardo Tisci's close friend and muse Mariacarla Boscono in the upcoming Givenchy campaign. And Stefano Gabbana and Alessandra Ambrosio have been Tweeting up a storm back and forth, spurring rumors that she may appear in the Spring 2011 Dolce & Gabbana campaign — Gabbana has revealed upcoming Dolce faces via Twitter in the past. This all is fanned by the fact that at the end of a video Gabbana posted yesterday, the interviewer prompts Ambrosio with: "I think you may have a new job with the [Dolce & Gabbana] line," to which Ambrosio laughs and plays coy: "Let's see . . . let's see."

Dolce & Gabbana Prove Which Color Will Be in For Spring
OnSugar blog The Fash Pack calls it: white is all the rage for Spring, per Dolce & Gabbana's white hot collection.
In case you had any doubt, white will be popular for Spring. The design duo at Dolce & Gabbana celebrated their quarter-century collection with a show done nearly all in white — and, according to Mr. Domenico and Mr. Stefano, they based it all on the items that would go in a bride's hope chest before she marries.

The collection ranged from semi-virginal minidresses decked out with lace, eyelet detail, and embroidered appliques, to satin lingerie that likely would stop a groom's heartbeat. It was refreshing to see a collection that was, simply put, pretty. Crystal detailing on a chiffon-overlay sheath dress took our breath away, and on the simpler side, a sheer cotton eyelet sundress has us missing the warmer months already.
