Adding a little eye makeup may be the easiest way to brighten up your whole look and make your face more awake and expressive. This is the time of year when bright colors and bold lines are par for the course, but pretty and on-trend doesn't have to be hard. I've put together five absolutely stunning — not to mention totally easy — looks right off the runway. See what's hot, and find out how to do them yourself, too.
Donna Karan Urban Zen Boutique Pops Up at ABC in NYC
ABC Carpet & Home's New York flagship store has unveiled a new pop-up shop showcasing Donna Karan's Urban Zen collection of sleek, Bali-inspired furnishings. The line includes craftsman pieces made from reclaimed solid teak and cushions stuffed with fiber from a tropical kapok tree.
I'm generally not a huge "Zen-style" enthusiast, but I think the lines of these teak sofas are absolutely to die for. And if you had a big enough bedroom, the oversize platform canopy bed is truly showstopping. There are also a few really romantic root wood pieces that I love. Better yet, 10 percent of sales benefit Karan's Urban Zen Foundation, which works to preserve culture and empower children internationally.
Donna Karan on the collection:
The first time I went to Bali, I instantly and passionately fell in love. The furniture captured my heart — and my imagination. Here was style; strong, simple and authentic. The teak did the talking, the artisan hand did the sculpting. I met with local artisans and saw detailed modern proportions and the purest, most elemental, yet highly functional shapes.
If you're not in New York, you can check out the Urban Zen website, as well as a couple other stores across the country that retail the collection. Take a look at more photos of the shop below.

2010 CFDA Award Nominees Announced
>> At the CFDA meeting earlier today, the board voted overwhelmingly to re-elect Diane von Furstenberg for a third, two-year term as president of the organization. Von Furstenberg, whose term would have originally come to an end after this year, will now serve until Dec. 31, 2012: “[The board] unanimously asked me to stay another two years and I said yes. I am happy that they love me and I love them. There is so much more to do and we’re doing it.”
And this evening, von Furstenberg held a cocktail gathering for the 2010 CFDA Award nominations announcements at her studio. She noted that the awards ceremony on June 7 at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall will host a special tribute for Alexander McQueen, and the Popular Vote category, which is open to public voting and which Ralph Lauren won last year, will be back again this year, with voting starting April 1.
Jennifer Lopez, Penelope Cruz, and Vera Farmiga: Belles of the Ball Gowns
At Oscars 2010, the stars came out to shine in voluminous ball gowns. We saw Jennifer Lopez in a sculptural Armani Privé, Penelope Cruz in maroon Donna Karan Couture, and Vera Farmiga in bright fuschia Marchesa. Check out our video to see who won our Arrive in Style Award for the Belle of the Ball.
2010 Oscars: Penelope Cruz
Penelope has worn nude and black dresses to Oscars past, but this year she opted for color, maroon Donna Karan to be exact. There's a lot of ruching going on, as well as asymmetry. Do you love or hate this year's choice?

Kate Moss Has a Lovely Ball With Friends in London
Kate Moss was quite the social butterfly at last night's Love Ball in London. She flitted around greeting and posing with friends like Stella McCartney, Michael Clark, and Mario Testino. Kate has been squeezing in her usual downtime between Fashion Week events, where she's a fun-loving staple. Designers like Diane von Furstenberg and Donna Karan let loose a bit as well to celebrate at the charity event. Sometimes Kate's passion for partying lands her in the headlines, but this time it was Elizabeth Hurley who raised a few eyebrows in her totally see-through sari.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Thanks to Tracy Anderson, My "Sagging Ass" Is in Shape
Madonna may have given trainer Tracy Anderson the boot, but that hasn't stopped pal Gwynnie Paltrow from professing her adoration for all things Tracy. The actress pens a love note to the trainer in her latest GOOP newsletter that also includes a video workout and mini-interviews from celebs like Courteney Cox, Donna Karan, and Kristin Davis.
"Tracy shares with us a little arm series that I did everyday preparing for Iron Man and that I take on the road. She just made it home-made style for me, lo fi. But it's good. Especially for the batwing problem."
