Which Comic-Con Cutie Is Most Fab?

Who'd ever thought Comic-Con would bring out so many cuties?

Who'd ever thought Comic-Con would bring out so many cuties? I did. I peeped Audrina Patridge, Kristen Bell, Ashley Greene, and Megan Fox channeling major hotness in an array of flirty frocks at the somewhat geeky festivities. I can't decide which girl is most Fab. Is it Audrina in her stone-white sheath and Christian Louboutin sandals; Kristen in forest green Herve Leger; Ashley in hot pink; or Megan in cutout LBD?

Designer Spotlight: Doucette Duvall

A few years ago Stephanie Doucette and Annebet Duvall took their neighborly friendship to the next level and collaborated on a clothing collection dubbed Doucette Duvall. To date, the designing duo are still going strong and creating beautiful vintage-inspired offerings. Liv Tyler looks stunning in their asymmetrical LBD, seen left.

In their effort to green the planet, Doucette and Duvall manufacture their entire collection in NYC's garment district and use recycled fabrics and trim. Their Spring collection is inspired by their female lineage and includes a whimsical assortment of dresses made in quaint prints. I particularly love the mix of modern and vintage in this floral print bubbles dress. Items range from $250 to $400 and are available at ShopFlick.com and boutiques worldwide.

Grunge

At Coterie With Doucette Duvall

Doucette Duvall is the perfect line for Coterie.

Doucette Duvall is the perfect line for Coterie. It's just high end enough to have it's own off site show at the Ritz Carlton, just under-the-radar enough to be carried at the coolest boutiques in New York and have a small, loyal following. We caught up the Doucette Duvall representatives who told us about the label's recent move away from grunge towards a more ladylike aesthetic. 'Grunge' is so over, they explained, telling us that with Fall 08, for each delivery, there will be a dress with matching overcoat. The fall 08 line is very Jackie Kennedy, the kind of heavy 1960's dresses that make you feel like the President's wife, getting drunk on dry martinis and spraying the pool boy with the garden hose. Whether grunge is over is another argument entirely, but Doucette Duvall certainly hit the nail on the head with their glamorous, upscale vibe for fall 08.
