Ellie Goulding sipped on a cold drink poolside in Miami yesterday while relaxing under the sun in a striped bikini top and short shorts. She made her way to Florida on Monday to shoot a music video and joked on Twitter that she was in need of clothes for filming. Ellie's been busy working since the late 2012 release of Halcyon and one of her hit songs from the album, "Lights," is featured on the soundtrack for Spring Breakers, which hits theaters on Friday. Ellie's also gearing up to join Bruno Mars on select dates during his upcoming Summer tour. She'll take the stage solo before then with concerts scheduled around the world through April and May. Ellie will break from performing in late April, though, to run the Nike Women's Half Marathon in Washington DC on April 28.
Taylor Swift kept the fun going last night when she attended a Brit Awards afterparty sponsored by Universal Music in London. She got down on the dance floor with Frank Ocean and giggled in a VIP area with fellow Brit Award performer Marcus Mumford and his wife, Carey Mulligan. Taylor also broke out some of her record-spinning moves to take over the DJ booth with James Corden, Ellie Goulding, and Ellie's boyfriend, Jeremy Irvine.
Taylor partied the night away despite losing the international female solo artist award to Lana Del Rey earlier in the evening. However, Taylor's performance during the show earned her rave reviews, even from ex-boyfriend Harry Styles, who said Taylor Swift's performance was "great." He added, "She always puts on a good show."

Last night, we opened the doors to our brand-new LA studios with a live performance by none other than Ellie Goulding. The British pop singer performed tracks from her debut CD, Lights, and her new album, Halcyon, which is garnering both critical praise and lots of love from her fans. She sang stirring, stripped-down versions of songs including "Starry Eyed," "Lights," and my personal favorite, "My Blood," for the crowd, kicking off the first in what will be a series of PopSugar live music showcases. I had a chance to interview Ellie in between sets, and we talked about why growing up in the countryside helped her develop her unique sound, her upcoming collaborations with boyfriend and fellow artist Skrillex, and why writing Halcyon didn't go exactly as she'd planned.
If you missed last night's show, or just want to watch it again, not to worry: Ellie Goulding's live PopSugar performance and interview is replaying now. We're looking forward to bringing you more great performances like Ellie's in the future, so stay tuned for our next artist announcement. In the meantime, click through to see all the snaps from last night's bash.

In addition to being asked to perform at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding on April 29, Ellie came over to the US, performed on SNL, and went on to sell out her American tour! Ellie spent time in NYC earlier this month to have some fun during Fashion Week. We chatted with the star at the Breslin, inside the Ace Hotel, about her experiences in the US. In addition to sharing some highlights from her travels, Ellie spoke about what she missed from home in England and dished on what it was really like rubbing shoulders with the royals — including the queen!
