You know how they say that eyes are the window to the soul? If that's the case, then your eyelashes must be the curtains. We've seen a bevy of gorgeous celebrities celebrating their fringe this week: Eva Marcille concentrated on her top lashes, opting for a strip of dramatic fringe; Zooey Deschanel sported big bottom lashes in a Clockwork Orange-like look; and Kourtney Kardashian went big with lots of mascara. Whether you choose individual lashes, use full strips, or just focus on extra volume, dramatic lashes can add a lot to your overall look, and in some cases, let you get away with wearing less makeup. What's your favorite dramatic lash look?
Would You Wear Lipstick Lighter Than Your Skin Tone?

Eva Marcille may be enjoying a foray into acting these days, but she still has some high fashion model in her. At a recent ESPY-hosted event, she wore this ultralight cream lipstick that was just a touch lighter than her skin tone, making for a clean, modern look. Pale lipstick can make lips seem fuller, but it can also come off as alien or unnatural if it's not done correctly. Wearing a moist, creamy shade and creating contrast with dark eye makeup can help, but even with those factored in, do you think women who aren't on the runway or red carpet can wear the style?
How to Get Eva Marcille's Punchy Coral Lipstick Look
For the Hollywood premiere of Jumping the Broom, Eva Marcille walked the red carpet looking chic and summery in a printed maxi dress and gold statement earrings. The look was highlighted by Eva's shimmery brick-red eye shadow, mile-long lashes, and bright coral lipstick. The hue played perfectly against her flawless skin, and If you're coveting Eva's cool pop of color, you can achieve the same look with Elizabeth Arden Exceptional Lipstick in Neoclassical Coral ($20) or Revlon Super Lustrous Creme Lipstick in Kiss Me Coral ($8). Complement the color with a bronzer-blush duo, subtle bronze and coral shadows, and two coats of inky black mascara to both the top and bottom lashes.
