Cherry by Masaki Matsushima, $60, not only has an adorable and bright bottle that makes your mouth water, but the scent is sweet and soft.

The fragrance is not overwhelmingly fruity so that you feel like you are going to attract bees at a picnic, rather it has quite a pleasant floral balance to it. The scent is extremely light and feminine - it's perfect for Summer.

The reason creator Masaki Matsushima chose cherry as the heart and theme of his fragrance is because cherry blossoms mark the end of winter and the rebirth of nature according to Japanese beliefs. They also represent beauty and nature.

Obsession Night by Calvin Klein, $62, is not the most recent launch, but that doesn't make it any less fabulous.

It was released in 2005 and is made from a concoction of seductive scents such as: bergamot, bitter orange, mandarin, white florals, angelica root, gardenia, rose, muguet, jasmine, vanilla, tonka bean, amber, labdanum and sandalwood and cashmere wood.

New to the US after much awaited anticipation are Shanghaijava Scent Collection of Solid Perfumes by Crazylibellule & The Poppies, $16.

Previously sold in Paris specialty stores, these adorably packaged solid fragrances come in girly-girl wrapped tubes made from sturdy paper and are priced extremely well. They are just slightly larger than a tube of lipstick (five grams) and they won't spill so you can travel with them anywhere.

Incanto Shine by Salvatore Ferragamo, $77, is the latest fragrance by the incredible Italian design house best known for fine Italian shoes, clothing and bags.

This scent was inspired from pure bliss; the calming yet excitement of happiness, peace and harmony that one experiences in springtime nature walks.

The fragrance is made from: pineapple, passion fruit, freesia, peach, cedar-wood and rich amber. It is a fun, free spirited perfume that evokes feelings from playful, bright sunny days.

Escape to Cape Cod is the newest limited edition summer fragrance from Tommy Hilfiger. The scents were inspired by the charming homes, laid back atmosphere, sand dunes, evening picnics and the rolling blue Atlantic Ocean of Cape Cod Massachusetts. There are two fragrances in this collection; one for men and one for women, which are expected to hit stores in April.

Escape to Cape Cod For Him is made from sea air accord, wild bergamot, juicy mandarin, spearmint leaves, seaweed, lavender and salty sea driftwood.

Escape to Cape Cod For Her is made from Nantucket cranberry, strawberry rhubarb, lemon-lime spritzer, beach roses, magnolia, indigenous Cape Cod wildflowers and cedar. Imagine wearing this fresh scent on sun soaked, sandy and salty sea skin! Mmmm.

The fragrances will only be sold in sets. Every Spring since 2002, Yves Saint Laurent launches a new limited edition version of their longtime favorite scent YSL Paris as a tribute to the capital of love. The latest fragrance to join this group is called YSL Paris Jardins Romantiques, $50.

Jardins Romantiques is intended to capture the first scents of Spring in a Parisian garden. It is a fresh mix of: mandarin, rose, lilac, violet, newly cut grass and a hint of sandalwood musk as a hearty base note.

The packaging is quite exquisite too. The bottle resembles a rose growing amidst piquant notes of fresh grass. The fragrance itself dons a delicate shade of pale green and the bottle cap is a glossy, light pink. There are also finely drawn beautiful rose corollas on the bottle and lightly silhouetted trees in the background.

This is an extremely elegant and feminine scent that evokes dreams of sitting in a garden in Paris in the springtime, thinking of romance, adventure and emotion. This fragrance will be available at the beginning of April. I can't wait!

Creed Fragrances have just created an awesome new scent inspired by America's Caribbean paradise, called Creed Virgin Island Water Eau de Parfum.

This fragrance has a very crisp and citrusy sensation. It is made from: white bergamot, Jamaican lime, Sicilian mandarin, Indian jasmine, and Tonkin musk.

The bottle is clean and beautiful. It is clear glass (different from all of their other bottles) and is crowned with a metallic blue cap.

However, consider yourself warned: smelling like paradise doesn't run cheap. A 4 oz bottle sells for $208, a 2.5 oz bottle sells for $185 and a one oz bottle sells for $98.

When you think of Gucci, you think of sexy. Alas, we welcome their latest fragrance called, Gucci Eau de Parfum II, $85. This sassy scent which has just been released has about as much attitude in it as their clothing does.

While I love Gucci's accessories and clothing, I must confess that this fragrance is too sweet for my taste. However, I do love the way the pink parfum floats encapsulated in the larger lead glass bottle.

Also, the ad campaign ties in nicely to the packaging. It features a beautiful woman who has a soft pink rim of color (the same shade as the perfume) lining the insides of her eyes.

The parfum is made from: mandarin, black currant, violet and blackberry warmed with base notes of jasmine, heliotrope and cedar wood; it is intended for someone who wants to be noticed.
