Fab Redux: Blues Ahoy

Remember when I redid my closet?

Remember when I redid my closet? That is when I realized I oft feel blue when it comes to clothes. Which is ironic because clothes make me very, very happy. Blue is a versatile color that manages to look good on most people — and there are so many hues to choose from. When I stumbled across this Navy pin-tuck pleats 80s babydoll top, size S/M, I had to resist, considering I already have an abundance of blue. It's sheen, smocked collar and mini vertical pleats are fabulous. You could also play around with the belt to switch it up. It's currently listed at $14.99 or you can buy it now for $40; the bidding ends Tuesday, June 24.

Fab Redux: Seeing Triangles

Forget painting the town red, paint it pink!

Forget painting the town red, paint it pink! Hot pink and black triangles to be exact. Remember how Nicole Richie told me she just mixes up her accessories? This Mod hot pink and black straw clutch purse will for sure mix things up and prove to be a favorite hot weather accessory. Clutches are perfect for Summer nights, just grab and gallivant.

The current budding price is $6.65 and the auction ends Saturday, June 7.

Now that Memorial Day has come and gone, can we say it's Summer yet?!

Now that Memorial Day has come and gone, can we say it's Summer yet?! I think so. So, it's Summer and that means sundresses. The combination of red and pink never fails, and this Hawaiian '60s pullover vintage dress with a back zip closure, size small ($44) is nothing short of cute. The subtle tropical print is festive, and you can play it up with a belt or not. Shaka, bra.

Fab Redux: Geo Clutch

Here's what I love about vintage: the details.

Here's what I love about vintage: the details. Take this Geometric Navy Blue clutch ($40) circa 1950s. At first it looks sort of dull, but up close you see it has a fine corde fabric pattern and the triangular zipper pull is a truly unique detail. Also, in case you didn't know, a navy clutch is an unexpected alternative to a black one. Yep, this geo clutch is a keeper.

Fab Redux: So Fresh

There's been a lot of necklace talk in the fashionsphere so I say, why wait for Fall, jump on the fun trend now.

There's been a lot of necklace talk in the fashionsphere so I say, why wait for Fall, jump on the fun trend now. I love long necklaces for a variety of reasons: they're sophisticated, fun, and can be worn multiple ways. Take this 1950s extra-long necklace ($39) with goldtone chain and white glass beads. Drape it over anything and it adds instant glamour. Or, wrap it around multiple times for a dense choker. Gold and white never looked so fresh.

After the wave of Coachella fervor this weekend, I was feeling inspired to go '70s vintage.

After the wave of Coachella fervor this weekend, I was feeling inspired to go '70s vintage. With a bit of digging, I found myself a perfect prize: this vintage pleated minidress.

The loose floaty top is feminine, and the waist nips in just the right place. How Fab would it be with a Coachella-inspired neon bangle or two?

The current bidding price is at $15, and the auction ends next Wednesday, May 7.

Fab Redux: Still Going Green

Yesterday may have been Earth Day, but I'm all for going green 365 days a year.

Yesterday may have been Earth Day, but I'm all for going green 365 days a year. Sometimes I take the phrase very literally, like with this pretty, vintage silk floral top ($32), but it's all about the mindset, right?

Besides, I'm killing two birds (oh no I didn't) with one stone: The top will look Fab tucked into a high-waisted skirt, and wearing vintage is more eco-friendly than buying something new. Check and check.

Fab Redux: Let the Sun Shine

Nothing really rings in the warm weather like an adorable sundress, especially with a washed-out bohemian flair like this vintage chevron dress ($58) has.

Nothing really rings in the warm weather like an adorable sundress, especially with a washed-out bohemian flair like this vintage chevron dress ($58) has.

The details are what really sets it apart: the triangular bib, the sash waist, the hip pockets . . . now all you need is a good pair of sandals, and let the sun shine!
