Spring/Summer fashion editorials are super fun to draw inspiration from — prints and colors galore, sexy beach shots, fun hats, lots of skin, you get the picture. The latest round from various Vogues, Flare, Tank, and Numero have all that and way more. Here is Alana Zimmer showing off her slick surf style in Flare's June issue. Her look is highly editorial, true, but there are cues we can draw to make our everyday wardrobes more fabulously up-to-date. Proceed to see the hottest latest editorials and why we love them.
15 Weapons to Ward Off Foot Blisters
We've all been there — stoked for our new shoes, we wear them as soon as they arrive, walk around for a few hours, then bam, blister city. It happened again with my brand new pair of gorgeous leopard flats — blisters so painful they made me second-guess my purchase. Don't you hate that? But I've learned: The solution isn't necessarily to ship back the shoes, it's to nip those blisters in the bud. Click on to get armed with 15 foot-blister weapons. You're going down, suckers!

Fab Tip: DIY Shaper Shorts
Shapers: They're not the most beautiful things, but such a necessity! They help stop the jiggle effect, especially when wearing fitted dresses and skirts. The only problem is that they tend to be on the pricier side, especially the Spanx brand. I was helping a friend update her work wardrobe recently when a lightbulb went off in my head. She needed shaper shorts for her new dress but didn't want to spend $50.

Fab Tip: Say Sayonara to Smelly Shoes
Smelly shoes are no use to anybody. Some fabrics, like synthetic vinyl, absorb stenches more than others, especially when you go sock-less. Bottom line: Stinky shoes are a problem that must be taken care of, pronto. No one wants to be associated with stank. I was recently watching Jeopardy, and of all things, one of the questions was about a plant that gets rid of bad smells. I took note.

Fab Tip: Clean Out (and Sell Out) Your Jewels

Here's a little-known fact about me: my ear lobes are super sensitive, and wearing anything other than studs tend to irritate them. I was recently cleaning out my jewelry drawer when I realized I have over 20 cute pairs of earrings I haven't worn in ages. A light bulb went off in my head — why not sell them to close friends and co-workers? After all, they're of no use to me, just sitting there. With my new entrepreneurial spirit, I went to work, sanitizing each piece with alcohol, then sticking them in small zip-lock baggies. I was on to something . . .

Let's Swap — Spice up Your Wardrobe and Have Fun
Check out this fantastic fashion swap party idea from OnSugar blog amPartyGirl.
A fun way to spice up your wardrobe: Throw a swap party! That's right. It's a cool way to get the girls together and jazz up your fashion closet . . . especially if you are on a Closet Organization mission — like me.
Send an email invitation in advance to all of your besties giving them time to collect their items. Serve some appetizers and a signature cocktail. Everyone gets a chance to display their collection. You'll be moments away from a new look. Why stop there? You can also swap beauty items and your favorite books; sharing is caring. Be sure to be the hostess with the mostess and add a little party bag to go. Sephora has everything a girl can need to go in her little purse. You'll be sure to make your friends feel special.

Fab Tip: Chic Stack Those Rings
I recently attended a tea party at a Marie Antoinette-inspired spot here in the city called Crown & Crumpet. So Fab! I was inspired by it all, but one thing in the souvenir boutique really caught my eye. It's a totally cute way to stack all your dazzling cocktail rings — like these Fossil Mix Stack Rings ($42) — if they're just sitting there in your drawer or on your dresser . . .

Fab Tip: Faux Fur, Snip Snip
Sienna Miller's Topshop faux fur coat looked amazing on her (as does Anja Rubik's, left), but it reminded me that faux fur coats often overpower. A while back I bought one, a faux rabbit, and now I know why I haven't given it much wear — it makes me feel gaudy. Thanks to the cold weather recently, it hit me: I couldn't just let that gorgeous brown faux fur sit there, alone. I took matters into my own hands — or rather, gave the matter to my tailor and let her work her magic.
