Look of the Day: Coming Up Roses

Everything is coming up roses for Lyanneperi.

Everything is coming up roses for Lyanneperi. In celebration of the sunny skies, she wore a pretty floral frock with a pair of hard-core sandals — so sweet and sexy. I also like how she added a streamlined touch via a black blazer. What a fun Spring look!

Here's what she has on:

Dress: Victoria's Secret
Blazer: Unknown
Shoes: Custom
Headband: Bazaar
Bangles: Bazaar
Bag: Unknown

Congrats to Lyanneperi!

"I absolutely love the color. It's an amazing blue that really pops. [In my picture,] I had to include a piece from my winning look, so I decided to go with my trusty Gap army green cargos, which happen to be very on trend and apparently, very lucky, too. Thanks, I've been a loyal reader for years!"

Here's what she has on:

Battle of the Shoe: Siriano vs. McQueen

Check out this cool shoe post shared by iamtybrown in the Cheap Chic group.

I was browsing the Payless site and I found Christian Siriano's new collection. They are a bit McQueen-ish. I think that's why I heart them! Whose design is better? Siriano is definitely cheaper on the purse!

This Spring, I Can't Live Without My . . .

Editor’s note: The following is a guest post written by Rachel Zoe, celebrity stylist and fashion designer. This week Rachel dishes on her must have Spring items.

Now that we are officially transitioning from Winter to Spring, the stars are aligned to update your wardrobe! This can seem somewhat overwhelming with so many new mah-jor clothes and accessories hitting stores, so it is best to take your time and make a list of a few key Spring pieces you can't live without. I miraculously edited my bookmarked tab of must-have items down to five — each one is versatile, glamorous, and will stand the test of time — read on to find out what they are! xoRZ

After a short hiatus due to our Look of the Day contest, Looks of the Week are back in action. Hooray! This week's looks ranged from super colorful to totally muted. My favorites are Spring-tastic, cobalt cutie, pink leopard, fun in florals, go go gray, sweet lace, hoodie, hat attack, figure skater, and moody florals. Check 'em out.

Going Nude For Spring

Check out this fun nudes trend post from OnSugar blog fashionjunkii.

I have always liked nude colors ever since they became a runway trend. This Spring, we are going to see a lot of nude shades and I am going to be one of the many fashionistas wearing this trend. I am thinking more of nude heels, but I am not sure if I will get a shade that is going match my skin tone. I love nude heels because they make your legs look longer.

I also love the idea of carrying a nude bag as it pretty much goes with every outfit in your wardrobe (try pair it with a spring floral dress). If you want your fingers to appear longer, then try nude nail polish. Wearing a nude dress will make you look sophisticated and sexy at the same time. Be creative and have fun by layering different nude shades and textures. So, will you be trying this trend?

HauteHelena — Help! I Can't Decide Which Loubs I Want More

Footwear Frenzy member HauteHelena needs our help — which Louboutins should she buy?!

Footwear Frenzy member HauteHelena needs our help — which Louboutins should she buy?!

This year, thankfully, the IRS gods have been good and given me a lot of money. In my conquest to become my city's Carrie Bradshaw, I decided that I should use the money towards something I've dreamed about: my very first pair of Louboutins. So I traveled 520 miles to the Christian Louboutin boutique only to find that the styles in stock were too trendy to justify spending $800. I walked into a Neiman Marcus an hour later and there was my shoe — a gorgeous, shiny, black patent leather heel. The Bianca (like this but patent). Then I came across these on Net-a-porter. So, what should I go with? Because in one way, I hate the super pointy shoes but they're classy. I love the Bianca but that platform isn't going to live forever.  Help, please! By the way, these are the ones I bought and am thinking about returning below.

There are already a bunch of groups you can join and explore, and please — start some new ones! Here's a helpful guide to creating in case you need some clarification.
