In between our hectic New York Fashion Week schedule, we've been spending perhaps too much time at the computer watching past Alexander McQueen shows to relive his most memorable runway moments. Sharing with you one of our favorites, above is a video of McQueen's fall 2006 collection— all Victorian crinolines, tailored herringbone, antler headdresses, and one mind-blowing Kate Moss hologram. As Sarah Mower wrote at the time, "the experience (was) a memory that will go down as one of fashion's all-time highs."
This morning is called Bold in Gold here at FABSUGAR and it's going to be all about, you guessed it, gold! Gold is, after all, one of the hottest trends for Fall! Here we look at some fabulous black bags with gorgeous gold accents! I can't wait to add one of these baby's to my essential fall shopping list!
As always, I have listed a few items in both Designer and Non-Designer Options.
The Designer Options

I guess since Black Nail Polish is all the rage, it only makes sense that white eyeliner would be in style as well. (well maybe not, but bear with me here). Anyway, that's right, white pencil eyeliner was all over the runways at all the Fall fashion shows from Oscar de la Renta to Dolce & Gabanna.
Of course, with any dramatic makeup trend, there are do's and don'ts to wearing it correctly. According to makeup artist Mally Roncal:
[White eyelinter] can be applied in a thin matte line about 1/3" along upper lash lines, around eyes' inner corners, inside the inner lower rim and just along the lower lash lines. Don't go any lower or it starts looking alien-like
Here are a couple of ones to try that require minimal investment.
Bourjois 2-in-1 Noir & Blanc Eye Pencile, $12, Available here. This one is great because it allows you to try the white eyeliner trend, but if you decide you hate it, you can still use the black side.
