I felt a little bohemian this morning and pulled out my Summer maxi dress. It was windy day, so I layered up with a knit sweater and leather jacket. Though you can't see it, fleece lined tights keep me super warm underneath it all. Part hippie, part punk.

Alexander Wang has rescued me from my mid-Winter slump. See, I've been eying his Ines oxfords for a couple months now and finally bit the bullet. They arrived this week, so of course I had to share. These fresh kicks are ultra-comfy, and I'm loving the artsy heel. Oh, the rest of the outfit? A pair of riding pants to go with my Mary-Kate Olsen-inspired equestrian belt and cocoon coat. Happy Friday!

There's nothing I like more than a fresh leather jacket. It's hard to find that perfect one, but I luckily found mine a couple years back on eBay — one of my favorite shopping destinations. It's Joie, buttery soft, and kinda reminds me of this Balmain version. I paired it with a simple black tee, zippy denim leggings, and black booties for a rocked-out feel. Layered pearls and a beaded necklace round out my look.

There's a reason why I'm smiling today: the sun finally came out! In celebration of the warm(ish) rays, I walked the city streets in a pair of DIY cutoff shorts and a flowy silk tunic; I love the peekaboo effect. Also, I added a long sweater coat and layered tights to keep me at the perfect temperature. The fine details? A bold wooden statement necklace from Anthropologie and a pair of fold-over boots.

Today, I kept cozy in some cool flares and a billowy batwing sweater. I love how the faded black wash adds some contrast to my all-black hue. Though it's hard to see in the photo, my extra-long, furry circle scarf is the statement piece. I doubled it around my neck for extra warmth, but sometimes I like to wear it as a hood — especially when there's a light mist outside.

I decided to give my old school belt another go today. To make it the focal point, I cinched it over a long turtleneck and (purposely) wrinkled silk shorts. Fleece-lined leggings and my favorite pair of black boots complete the look.

You can't see the details of my Paint It Black outfit very well — I'm busy free fallin' — so allow me to explain them.
My top has a lace insert up top and is slightly sheer. My jeans are my trusty black Paiges I never wash because I'm afraid of them fading (is that gross?). And my moto boots remind me of my favorite band: Guns 'n' Roses. The umbrella is my fancy new Brooks umbrella that's supposed to weather a monsoon. I added some spice with a gunmetal and blue art deco cuff.

Today, my windswept ensemble is all about layers. Playing with varying levels, I stacked an H&M cropped jacket — which, by the way, took me weeks of hunting to acquire — over a longer tee. Since it's storming outside, I tucked a pair of black riding pants into black foldover boots by Tara Subkoff. I love them so much, I bought the same exact pair in brown.

Today was a bit chilly, so I decided to wrap myself in this cozy cocoon coat by Zara. I remember falling in love with it last year, and having to sacrifice buying the wrong size because it was the last one available. Once I got it altered, it fit like a dream. Underneath it all, I have on a draped cashmere sweater dress layered over a black turtleneck. My boots are from the Urban Outfitters LD Tuttle for Colonial Madness collection — so comfy!
