Watch Britney Spears's New Video For "Till the World Ends"

To keep the ball rolling on promoting her new album, Femme Fatale, Britney Spears has unleashed her second video, this time for "Till the World Ends."

To keep the ball rolling on promoting her new album, Femme Fatale, Britney Spears has unleashed her second video, this time for "Till the World Ends." It takes us to a postapocalyptic dance club, complete with meteors, sweat, and a whole lot of writhing. It's a bit reminiscent of "I'm a Slave 4 U," but with fewer of Britney's signature moves. Still, the pop star looks gorgeous and genuinely seems to be having a good time. Plus, there's no denying that the song is one of the most infectious tracks on the album.

The Britney Spears Femme Fatale Workout

We are pumped to share one of our fave stories from Self here on FitSugar!

We are pumped to share one of our fave stories from Self here on FitSugar!

At long last (and after major hype), Britney Spears's Femme Fatale is out! Naturally, we took the pop princess's clubbiest album yet to the gym to find out what songs work during which parts of your workout.

"Till The World Ends"

It takes a solid minute for this Ke$ha-penned track to really get going, so use that time for some aerobic stretches to warm up your muscles. Try this: Stand with feet wider than hip-width apart, knees soft. Keeping hips stable, reach left arm overhead to right, and right arm across torso to left. Then reach right arm overhead to left, and left arm across to right. Next, bend forward from hips so torso is parallel to floor; repeat arm reaches. Then fold body completely forward and reach arms to front. Do sequence 20 times. To up your heart rate, add in jumping jacks or jump rope (you don't actually need a rope, just go through the motions!) for the next minute.

Britney Spears proved that she'll do just about anything in the name of good — but not necessarily clean — fun on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. The pop star stopped by for a hilarious clip with the Jackass crew in which she recreated their "Poo Cocktail Supreme" in a Porta-Potty slingshot. It's all part of her promotional tour in support of her album, Femme Fatale, which dropped yesterday, and Brit took the stage on the late-night show to show off some sexy new costumes and sing for the crowd. You can catch her this Sunday on MTV in a behind-the-scenes special, and we've got your trailer right here — watch!

The Biology Behind the Femme Fatale

Beautiful women get a bad rap.

Beautiful women get a bad rap. In literature, they're the seducers who lead men to their ends; in real life, they've been called too sexy for the workplace (or self-proclaimed it). I would have dismissed it all as stereotyping, but there's an actual biological explanation.

Study after study shows men are more likely to take risks when attractive women are present. Skateboarders perform riskier tricks (though, fortunately, have fewer accidents) while women watch. Yes, it's true that skaters are young and innately daring, but they're not the only ones susceptible to beautiful women. Even chess players, analytical and forever level-headed, make riskier, and not always smarter, moves in the presence of alluring femininity.

I'm not one to give men free passes, but they can't help it (to an extent). Testosterone is powerful, and a pretty woman sends a heaping dose of it to their brains, making them prone to risk-taking, impulsivity, and shortsighted decision-making.

But is this really such a surprise? Psychologists are just confirming what manipulators have known for decades — why else would beautiful, "nonplaying" women hang around casino tables, or sexy women, like Russian spy Anna Chapman, be sent to break down men. In fact, the phrase "femme fatale" wouldn't exist if we didn't already know this!

If you look up the term femme fatale — the inspiration for this Vogue Germany spread — it says "an alluring and seductive woman whose charms ensnare her lovers in bonds of irresistible desire, often leading them into compromising, dangerous, and deadly situations."

If you look up the term femme fatale — the inspiration for this Vogue Germany spread — it says "an alluring and seductive woman whose charms ensnare her lovers in bonds of irresistible desire, often leading them into compromising, dangerous, and deadly situations." Catherine McNeil is it. She's the epitome of it — womanly, rebellious, sexual, and capable of making men moan. She gets more into character by wearing all black and leather Balmain, Nina Ricci, Alexander Wang, and Yves Saint Laurent. It's leather heaven and this Australian model wears it like no other.
