Ditching signature Gaga style — crazy footwear, hats and headpieces, serious makeup, and over-the-top costumes — the pop singer takes the cover of Vogue Hommes Japan in character as a Sicilian man. Nick Knight shot Lady Gaga doing her best "Jo Calderone" impersonation, a man who prefers grease-stained tees and cigarettes over bubbles, lace, and the usual Gaga get-ups. The stripped-down, androgynous Gaga is a stretch from what we're used to seeing, but even as a man, Gaga pulls it off. So, what do you think — freaky or fabulous?

Freaky or Fabulous? Faux Fox Tail Accessory
There are a ton of accessories that can instantly spice up your look: blingin' jewelry, a standout handbag, some killer heels, a breezy scarf. But have you ever considered sporting this Campise Faux Fox Tail ($48) as your next go-to accessory? It may take getting used to, but many stylish guys and gals are already wearing similar styles on the streets and at concerts. Think it over for a minute, then tell me, is this trend totally freaky or potentially fabulous?
Freaky or Fabulous? Ayaka_Nishi Spine Necklace
We've seen some freakishly fabulous things in our time, and this Ayaka_Nishi Spine Necklace ($2,195) is another one of them. The craziest bit is that it's made of animal bones. Bone jewelry is nothing new — remember the Delfina Delettrez skeleton hand? — but this spine necklace is pretty bold, as it would be front-and-center on your decolletage. Are you ready to show the world your spine?
Freaky or Fabulous? Lady Gaga-Approved Eye Got Ballz Rings
Jewelry with the eye motif is often used for protection from the proverbial evil eye. But these Ambush Eye Got Ballz Rings ($251 each) will provide protection on another level. Just check out those massive red bloodshot veins — they're sure to freak out any passerby! Leave it to Lady Gaga to rock it out hard-core. Price aside, are these double eyeball rings freaky or fabulous?

Freaky or Fabulous? Lady Gaga Mimics Larry King
Last night, Lady Gaga traded in her typically outrageous wardrobe — lace, masks, leotards, hats, you know — for menswear. But the swap was just as alluring. Appearing as a guest on Larry King to discuss her thoughts on "don't ask, don't tell," the performer adopted the same signature style of the host — suspenders, specs, and all. Pictured alongside Larry King, the button-down, tie, sunglasses, and even slicked-back hair make the singer a dead-ringer for the veteran interviewer. What's your take on Gaga's costume du jour — freaky or fabulous?

Freaky or Fabulous? Ke$ha's Feather Fest at 2010 MTV World Stage VMAJ
The 2010 MTV World Stage VMAJ kicked off in Tokyo. Among the Japanese artists to hit the red carpet was sassy American pop singer Ke$ha. She's known to have bolder than bold taste, but this ensemble — or rather, her massive feather headpiece — is way outrageous, even for her. It even makes some of Lady Gaga's hats look tame. To offset the headpiece, Ke$ha opted for a more modern bottom half: a leather jacket, leather leggings, and wooden platform sandals. A peek-a-boo bra effect feeds into her signature sexiness. Is this freaky or do you commend Ke$ha for thinking bold?
Freaky or Fabulous? Amanda Lepore's Top Model Impersonation
In a spread for Tush Magazine, transsexual icon Amanda Lepore strikes a supermodel pose — no, that's not actually Naomi, but did she have you fooled? For the spread titled "She's Them All," Lepore mimics supermodel greats Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Karen Elson, and Nadja Auermann — and does it with gusto. These are pretty perfected and I still can't get over the spot-on Naomi smile or fabulously poised Evangelista. What do you think: freaky or fabulous?
5 Freaky Marc Jacobs Bottoms!
I was looking for cute Spring bottoms on ShopStyle, and after coming across a bunch of Marc Jacobs styles, it occurred to me: Marc is making some freaky bottoms these days! Skirts, bloomers, pants, shorts are all adorned with crazy ruffles, ethnic prints, and loud colors. Not anything I would come close to. Take for instance these Ruffled-trim Bloomer Shorts ($625) — the antithesis of flattering, right? Proceed to see four more freaky Marc Jacobs bottoms and be sure to also check out more freaky (or fabulous) fodder.
Freaky or Fabulous? Carine Roitfeld, Super Villain
Ralph Lauren threw a big to-do celebrating his Paris store opening last night. Guests included Karl Lagerfeld, Sonia Rykiel, Du Juan, Abbey Lee Kershaw . . . and batwoman! Or by day, known as Vogue Paris Editor Carine Roitfeld. You know me — I love a dramatic getup, especially one involving a cape — and if anyone can smoke it, Carine can. Her smoldering face heightens the hilarity. You with me?
The Craziest of Crazy Shapewear
Shapewear is useful, but let's face it: It's not something you want to flash your date 'cause it ain't pretty. Bubbles Bodywear has a whole collection of butt-lifters, tummy-suckers, thigh-slimmers, and breast-lifters that are hilarious, like this Pick-Me-Up Max-Compression Brief ($55). The huge pads help give shape to the bum, but they also make us laugh. There's plenty more where that came from — even a few pieces for men! — so get ready for a good time.
