Even while we're fully immersed in the Fall '11 collections, the beginning of March has me thinking all things Spring. I've been eying the past Spring '11 runways and the brights they brought in the form of these flirty frocks from Versace, Matthew Williamson, Peter Som, and so many others. This is a different kind of LBD necessity, so forget the little black dress and allow me to introduce this season's must-own little bright dress. The colorful options are limitless, as are cuts and silhouettes, though we recommend keeping it short and sweet to soak up the sun. Just shop my picks to get the look.

Melrose Place Style: Jane Andrews Mancini
Josie Bissett returns to her original role as Jane Mancini on the fourth episode of Melrose Place. She brings a dose of drama with her, along with the serious style of a designer. In this scene, Jane pairs a studded tunic with leggings and a fabulous pair of gray knee-high boots. Her gray toned hobo bag effortlessly finishes the look. This Geren Ford dress has a similar air, so shop it now along with other like items.

Geren Ford Builds a Web Home For Its Silky Goods
Geren Ford is the latest to go e-commerce. All the silky tops and dresses we've come to know and love are now all together in one place. I especially appreciate the sleek photography and large photos — beautiful things are meant to be examined closely. An exciting discovery during one of my visits was this Geren Ford Jersey Gather Neck Top ($106); it's the casual counterpart of Geren's silk ruffle-neck tops.
Celeb Style: Gisele Bundchen
Gisele Bundchen kept her growing belly covered up in a pretty purple silk dress while lunching with girlfriends in LA. Her simple gold flats gave this look a casual feel, while her gold hoops and wishbone necklace added some sparkle. Shop a similar look, matching pashmina and all, now.
Geren Ford's Intimate Side
Did you know Geren Ford started off as a lingerie line? Interesting. However, designer Geren Lockhart quickly moved over to sportswear when people started wearing her innerwear as outerwear. Now that her ready-to-wear line is running smoothly, Geren is going back to her roots with the relaunch of intimates. Geren's vintage-inspired Holiday collection, wholesaling between $34 to $116, includes silk camisoles, slips, panties, and pajama pants in black, white, and jewel tones. Embellishments such as ruffles, tucks, pleats, snaps, and exposed zippers will add special touches. The collection hits stores in October. Sweet.
