Photographer Phil Meech's backstage photos from the Spring 2012 runway show — starring models Lindsey Wixson, Anais Pouliot, Ruby Aldridge, Kasia Struss, Ginta Lapina, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Fei Fei Sun, and Daphne Groeneveld — provide the perfect foil to Jeroen Koolhaas's and Lok Jansen's handmade collages and cheeky vintage photographs.

David Sims captured Julia Saner, Freja Beha Erichsen, and Caroline Brasch Nielsen (although images of the latter two have not yet surfaced) in black and white at Valentino’s Place Vendome headquarters; and Juergen Teller did the honors as usual for Marc by Marc Jacobs, pairing Ginta Lapina with androgynous male model Andrej Pejic (Pejic appears with another blonde — Karolina Kurkova — in the yet-to-be-seen Spring 2011 Jean Paul Gaultier campaign).

Love's Fall issue, however, features a different, less celebrity-driven body of work from Zoe — who worked with the magazine for the first time. The black and white editorial spread, shot by Doug Inglish, depicts Ginta Lapina wearing a selection of boudoir-inspired clothes in a dark and sultry atmosphere. Ginta, who is a Fall 2010 face of Miu Miu, told Love that during that campaign's shoot, Madonna walked in to meet up with Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for dinner, and ended up directing a video on set: "We were supposed to shoot a video, so Madonna said she wanted to direct it. They said she could do it but they weren't going to pay her and she started laughing. She put on her iPod and taught us moves and we shot the video for two hours."

Plus, A Couple of New Faces for Miu Miu —Both Loewe and Miu Miu are reportedly going with multi-girl casts for their Fall 2010 campaigns: the former is said to have scored at least two Victoria's Secret faces — Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio — and the latter will feature Ginta Lapina and Daphne Groenveld shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott — in addition to a rumored, but unnamed, additional model or two. Derek Lam likes to keep his friends close and his models closer. After seeing Ginta Lapina on his arm at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards last week, we found the model posing in Lam's new Spring campaign. "We went back to the beach, but it’s a dreamy world of cream-colored sand, highlighted by pops of color from vibrant clothing and accessories," said Creative Director Doug Lloyd.
The ad, shot by Solve Sundsbo at Pier 59 Studio in New York, showcases Ginta looking quirky cute in Lam's polka-dot confections. I love the punchy accessories, and Ginta's updo and red lips are a fun contrast to the beachy backdrop. Side note, what's up with the luring ominous shadow?
