Riccardo Tisci's Catholic upbringing is usually present in the clothing he creates for Givenchy, but his Spring 2013 show for the house telegraphed it in a number of literal ways. He took some of Hubert de Givenchy's '60s couture flair — primarily in the form of sculptural ruffles and beautiful materials like taffeta and duchesse satin — and poured them into dresses that referenced nun's habits with the addition of wide collars typically seen only in convents. (For good measure, the show was set to live organ music by Mathias Lecomte and DJ Discodromo.)

Even when the clothes weren't cut from slightly sheer fabrics, they looked light as air. This may have had something to do with the color palette: beige, white, black, and a flattering pale blue dominated here. It also is partly attributable to the chaste way Tisci chose to expose skin. A lot of the pieces had one sleeve (accented by those ruffles) or none. Even the strictest nun would approve.

Gisele Bundchen Confirms Second Pregnancy

Update: After months of speculation, Gisele Bundchen has confirmed that she is five months pregnant in an interview with South American television network TV Global. The interview is set to air this Sunday, Aug. 26, and in it Bundchen says that she is "very happy" about the new addition to her family.
Us Weekly confirmed the news in June, reporting that Bundchen was about "three months" pregnant. "They are really happy!" an unnamed source told the magazine, referring to Bundchen and her husband, Tom Brady.
In May, several Brazilian newspapers, including Epoca, IG, and Agora Sao Paolo reported the rumor, claiming the model asked Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci to make her Met Gala dress roomy enough to accommodate her growing midsection. The paper also claimed she told friends at the Met Gala that she was about two months along, but wanted to wait until she hit the three-month mark before she confirmed the news to a wider audience.
A spokesperson for Bundchen would neither confirm nor deny the rumor at the time, saying that it went against policy to comment on Bundchen's personal life. The model's representation was similarly reticent in 2009 when they declined to comment about Bundchen's first pregnancy.
This will be Bundchen's second child — she delivered a boy named Benjamin in 2009 — and Brady's third. Brady had a son named John with actress Bridget Moynahan in 2007.
