The Gotham Independent Film Awards took place at NYC's Cipriani Wall Street last night, honoring stars in the movie industry including Matt Damon and Marion Cotillard. Matt arrived with wife Luciana Damon and posed on the red carpet with their pal John Krasinski and his spouse, Emily Blunt. John presented Matt with a Tribute award during the Euphoria Calvin Klein-sponsored show. From the stage, Matt said, "I have never taken this industry for granted and I never will . . . I'm truly blessed."
Marion Cotillard, who wore Christian Dior, received the corresponding female honor for her work in film. The best ensemble cast award went to Your Sister's Sister, and was picked up by director Mark Duplass and stars Emily Blunt and Rosemarie DeWitt.
