10 Ways to Decorate With Green For St. Patrick's Day
St. Patrick's Day is upon us! The Irish may be sporting green this Thursday, but donning a clover-colored t-shirt and feasting on sodabread (and Guinness) isn't the only way you can celebrate your heritage. Try integrating some green into your interiors to keep the party going at home. Whether you swap some earthy accessories or take a can of paint to your walls, there are plenty of ways to make St. Patrick proud. Here are 10!
10 Pretty Ways to Get Green For St. Patrick's Day
St. Patrick's Day will be here on Thursday, and soon we'll all be awash in green beer and holographic shamrock glitter. The holiday doesn't necessitate throwing on a leprechaun hat, though. You can get into the St. Pat's Day spirit in lots of ways, many of them quite pretty and even (gasp!) nonalcoholic. So check a few picks for going green the fashionable way, whether you're hitting up a parade or just going for a couple of chartreuse cocktails after work.

Conscious Shopping: Five Eco-Friendly and Completely Chic Pieces
This is truly guilt-free shopping. Eco-friendly and ethical, fair-trade products often get a bad rap for being too hippy-dippy. Not so for these products in our slideshow. Each piece is super chic on its own, and it just happens to be good for Earth and society. So go ahead, shop with a good conscience.
Create Your Own Version of Emma Stone's Green Smoky Eye
Emma Stone went for a sultry effect at Paris Fashion Week with dramatic green smoky eyes. The look had plenty of impact but wasn't as heavy as a darker palette would have been. For a very similar set of shades, check out the Lancôme Color Design Palette ($48) or easy stick-on Japonesque Eye Majic ($5). If you'd like something a little more natural looking, try a smoky eye with more brown in it, like CoverGirl Smoky Shadow Blast in Citrus Flair ($8). Found: The Perfect St. Patrick's Day Nail Polish
Now, let's be clear: as a woman well out of her teen years, I do not have Justin Bieber fever. But within myself, I have discovered an unexpected affinity toward many of Justin's nail polishes from his crazy-popular One Less Lonely Girl collection from Nicole by OPI. The newly-released One Time Lime ($7), described as a "vibrant lime that's worth your time," is no exception. It's bright and cheery without being too neon-like; it's creamy and opaque, but not in a muted or dated sort of way. In essence, it's a true green with just a touch of yellow — and it would be perfect decorating your nails while out drinking a beer (or several) on St. Patrick's Day. Justin will just have to wait a few years to celebrate with us.

SmogShoppe Offers Eclectic, Green Wedding Oasis
You may know Miguel Nelson and Sherry Walsh for their urban gardening solution, Woolly Pockets, but maybe you haven't heard of their other brainchildren, refurbished LA event spaces Marvimon House and SmogShoppe. While both indoor/outdoor spots can be used as a wedding venue, SmogShoppe is larger, with 6,500 square feet of succulent-outfitted space, complete with vertical gardens, vintage furnishings, and a medley of recycled and eco-friendly features. The Culver City hot spot had a past life as an '80s smog-check center, hence the name, but now it's been transformed into an über-popular venue for eco-minded couples looking for out-of-the-chapel-box nuptials.
The mix of industrial details, vintage chairs, and desert greenery in the space's every nook and cranny make for delicious wedding photos. It also means you can spend less time and money on decorations, since the beauty is in the space, as opposed to a big blank hotel reception hall.
