Hilary Rhoda played the role of California cutie at an event in Sagaponack, NY, over the weekend. Her striped maxiskirt is a fresh alternative to a miniskirt, while a cropped tank and lightwash denim jacket scream Summer sass. Tan sandals and a beaded necklace finish her look with an au naturel flair.

This week was off to a slow start — Summer style slump? — but picked up. Phew. The standout I think we can all agree on was Kristen Stewart in this asymmetrical patchwork Herve Leger by Max Azria dress. And Kristen's new auburn locks helped fuel the fire, too. This dress is so fitting for her: modern, sexy, tough. Other style stars include Dree Hemingway ready for the disco, Ed Westwick ready for take off, and Emma Watson ready to rock.
We dug into the editorial archives to find this Another Magazine Spring '07 story to keep the Met Gala's American Woman theme going. Of all the Americana-style editorials I've seen, this is most authentic. Even the quality of the photographs looks vintage. American model Hilary Rhoda and Brazilian Caroline Trentini are perfection. Plaid, sandals, sundresses, polo shirts, and short shorts are on the grill. Eat up.
>> Models, designers, and style fixtures alike pulled out their cut-offs and rompers and descended on Indio, California over the weekend for the Coachella music festival. Agyness Deyn palled around with Henry Holland sporting her new crew cut, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stayed chummy with Jason Statham, and Chanel Iman tried her hand at a few games in between shows. Alexander Wang, Hilary Rhoda, and Sophomore's Chrissie Miller, too, partook in the festivities.
Color me inspired — this week's celebrity looks were all about color. Whether it was an unexpected fusion of hues (Hilary Rhoda, navy, yellow), or bold orange on the red carpet (Zoe Saldana), or the flawless use of army green (Alexa Chung), stars proved that they know how to use Spring colors to their advantage. How well were you paying attention to them? Let's find out.

Sometimes an outfit is more about the color story than the silhouette. Model Hilary Rhoda's ensemble she wore at the 2010 Tribeca Ball is the perfect example. The combination of navy Rachel Roy dress and yellow sandals is unexpected, totally fresh. A white clutch pulls in further color, while a multistrand necklace adds pizazz. Do try this at home.

The lovely ladies of Sports Illustrated gathered last night to celebrate the year's new swimsuit edition. Cover girl Brooklyn Decker looked happy as could be posing with her hot issue — make sure to check out shots from inside the magazine! Bar Refaeli wrapped up her Italian vacation with Leonardo DiCaprio in time to make it to the party, wearing an unusually loose black dress down the red carpet. Brooklyn and Bar were joined by some fellow bikini models, including Hilary Rhoda, Cintia Dicker, and Anne Vyalitsyna, who enjoyed an exotic trip of her own with Leo last Summer. It wasn't all women out to mark the occasion, as a few lucky guys like John Legend and Mark McGrath were also there enjoying the sights.

From travel style to night style to red carpet style, celebs like Penelope Cruz, Kate Moss, Hilary Rhoda, and Lo Bosworth all looked great this week. Kate wore all black at the airport, while Penelope and Hilary were on the same wavelength with their light-jacket-with-denim ensembles. How well were you paying attention to their details? Gorgeous American model Hilary Rhoda did her part to support Haiti by attending a disaster relief fundraiser in NYC. Smart girl. Her outfit is totally unique but still in line with of-the-moment trends. The sequined Adam blazer is the main attraction, while ripped jeans, leopard peep-toe Loubs, and a macho watch serve as cool accompaniments.
